A word of advice if you don’t mind, this looks like a very impractical idea. It comes with only 10 pads - assuming that the pads actually stay on, that’s a 10 use thermometer. The review says that you have to shake it for it to activate, not sure about others, but shaking a baby is not a good idea and shaking this beforehand and then quickly sticking it on might be tricky to say the least. There is no good reason to stick a thermometer on a baby, it’s not like you have to monitor their temperature all the time. You’ll know to take their temperature if required. The Bluetooth aspect is just a gimmick. Get a normal thermometer if you really need to keep one.

You humans are always complaining.
Then you can use it in your other holes.
What if you haven't got 5 ears?
£1 in Asda
Went with this one, thanks dush_yant. (highfive)
This one https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TRADITIONAL-WOODEN-WOOD-THERMOMETER-WALL-MOUNTING-C-F-READING-IN-OUTDOOR-WEATHER/263528351156?hash=item3d5b8385b4:g:6JQAAOSwM1tamdRX for £1.69 and it's 21cm in length
That one doesn't mention the size and says the picture is for illustration purposes. The posted deal is a good 25cm!
Fair point. But, I’m sure they have to pass certain standards.
had one. would not recommend. was showing 1.5 - 2.0 degerees less than a Phillips and a braun thermometer.
Thank you. So it’s national then.
Its online as well for the same price
you should have listed them 1 per post (strong)
I see 46 deals in brilly profile.
some in my profile if you care to look, guess i just dont spam the hell out the forum when i do my shopping though
brilly what deals do you ever post
i make this their 13th lidl deal in a row, unlucky for us
And hotter. When you get it (eventually) let me know what it's like so I can say "I told you so!". :D
I posted a real world review here - it's hopeless - don't bother - but still it gets hot. I wonder about HUKD sometimes! :/
I'm keeping an eye out for a deal on the Xiaomi temperature sensors. I'm not sure about the accuracy with these things but at least the battery life should be decent.
Anything over £15 gets import duty/vat + deferment charge. Customs doesn’t wavier it but you might find the shipper has paid it.
£2.83 for a humidity meter? Yeah, you're not gonna get accurate results from that.
Haha, yeah, I'm no Einstein but I've tried all permutations, thanks though! (nerd)
Not trying to be smart but have you put them in the right way? When you look into this battery compartment there are 2 springs at the bottom that would suggest the flat part of the battery or the minus terminal normally goes to these but only 1 does .
I received mine on Friday, but it doesn't even turn on. I've tried a range of AAA batteries too, but still no luck.
need one of these when you go on the pull what`s hot and what`s not.
I used them about 6/7 weeks ago. All went well, I will use them again.
GooGeek? Sounds appropriate.
Reassures owners of AI sex dolls they're not running a temperature?
Only use on your own ears not on anyone elses wax caves.
what does the bluetooth do?
Tempting but I think I'll wait for some reviews first, some of these no-touch thermometers can be very inaccurate.
Don't think this one will be better... only way to get true thermometer is to finish all this "safety" crap and get back to old fashioned mercury thermometers. BTW, maybe someone know a place where to get one? Some blackmartket on TOR or anything? :D
You've ever been to Norfolk ...have you?
Thanks op,was about to buy one full price, perfectly timed deal. Bought a Knietic St Johns Ambulance one from Tesco but it was reporting my mums temp as being 40 one minute and 34 the next, complete piece of garbage. The district nurses use these Braun ones and they recommended them.
Psh. Who has five ears?
I got an in ear Braun thermometer as I did some googling and found this is the most accurate measurement. Also, when we have had to go to the hospital with high temps they always use an in-ear one on my lil one. I think the one I got was £25ish.
Notepad and pen would suffice in that sort of situation? Don't get me wrong it might benefit some, but I would rather save my money.
As seen in Star Trek
With having 3 kids , 2 with cf I found the biggest down gal was that it had no way to identify which child temp it was. Was hoping to keep a report on trends to see if it could work out when chest infections where developing but would have needed 3 devices and 3 phones or tablets !
Just received one of these - way more accurate that the in ear one we had. :D
Me mum used to pop her hand on my head and knew if I was burning up. Still give her a tinkle now and again at 44. No harm to be checked over.
I've joined the waitlist and waiting..............
Joined the waitlist and managed to get one 😃 thanks for sharing (y) 🏻
Good price but if you have hive nest or any smart thermostat you can just put it in the babies room and if it drops to low the heating will come on and sort it
Just saw this and thought I'd missed out as it has now gone up. Went onto live chat with an Amazon advisor and they've honoured the £11.99 price match.
Anyone else feel that the yellow setting is a bit on the chilly side? 21c is about right, not too hot or too cold.
Back up to £14.99 now
Quite common, you often get them free with baby sleeping bags.
That's the spec but the reality is very different. Mine wouldn't move by more than 3-4 degrees wherever it was and the humidity didn't move at all!
accuracy is very bad, not worth it in my opinion.
Some more detail below. +/-5% is about typical for these low end type of RH meters. Temperature Measuring Range: : 0~50°C (32~122F)Temperature Measuring Accuracy:: ±1°CHumidity Measuring Range:: 10%~99% (RH)Humidity Measuring Accuracy:: ±5% (RH)Power :: 2 * AAA battery (Not Included)Product DetailProducts Type: Thermometer HygrometerStyle: TrendyMaterial: PlasticSize(CM): 8.5*8.5*2.5CMPackage Contents: 1 x Thermometer Hygrometer
If these use the really cheap humidity sensors then they will become less accurate over time. The cheap thermometers are pretty good though.
Heat added (y)
It’s £12.95 now :(
My little girl got this for Christmas - we love it!! We press it to check the water is right temp (as I’ve never been good at guessing!) and then it automatically tells you during the bath if the temperature falls to below the recommended temp :) great find at that price!
Thanks OP ordered
Showing 0.99 for me
1£ în poundland!
£1 from pound land, if you want it today and not in 3 months
I don't know if I would trust it, will it have passed uk safety standards and been tested? I'd think it was made in China and maybe untested :/
Takes 60 seconds to measure temperature......? Seems a bit long that to me or am I just impatient? Ha
I paid 99p incl postage for one of these last month on eBay from a Chinese seller. Exactly the same thermometer. (excited)
Was wondering about that.. Thanks for that info.
I always go to FakeSpot now before I buy something on Amazon. Here’s the link to it, to check something out just paste the web address of the Amazon product into the appropriate place & the site will analyse it. I’ve grown suspicious of Amazon listings which have 100s or 1000s of reviews for something unexpected. https://www.fakespot.com
Bought one on eBay £2.50 delivered
I wouldn't rely too much on fake spot,I just looked at the product I sell on Amazon and it says 64% of the reviews are fake when I know that none of them are.
Bought. Heat added. Do I need it though?
You set the intended weight on the dial, point to the target and it gets lighter? Perfect for January. Voted hot!
How much lighter is it?
Oh no! Not again? This has been "lighting deal" so many times. Amazon needs to stop!
It's 18.99 not 9.99
Got mine this morning, Dunno what im going to use it for if ever but it was cheap, it will come in handy some day :)
Mines arrived today by courier
Heat added. I needed one of these for checking battery cell temperatures.
I did the same just now $1.86=£1.03 Thanks for the tip
and in what form does it exactly affect you. Surely if you were intelligent you would not even attempt to make fun of people with some language problems. It is very understandable that my main language is not English but your intelligence could not understand it I think.
