All Tripod Discounts, Offers and Sale - December 2018
This is an evil site. Don't need but want. I resisted the Adidas deal the other day on a pair of Superstars, will I be able to resist this???
Holds my 5D Mkii with 100mm f/2.8 L macro, and ring flash, with little problem. Though a remote trigger is highly recommended!
I have two of these. They're great, especially as you can turn your camera sideways.
Similar Manfrotto (I believe a bit different model) handles my mirrorless camera easily and firmly. However, when tripod "legs" are in some middle position (not wide open), they tend to slip and become wide opened
Thank you (y)
Got mine for well under this from 'a-well-known-importer.'
Thanks. I forgot to check if that deal was still on, even if you don't spend another pound you would still get a free 32gb SanDisk Pro SD card for spending over £350.
Also if you add something cheap to sneak the price over £1000 they'll give you a free 64gb SanDisk Pro SD card
Oh well my apologies sir.
5 bucks for a lightning cable. You kidding me?
2 things I was eyeing up at full price nice (y)
If you live in my block then the delivery could well fail. Royal Mail are much more reliable for me. And probably others.
What's the worst that could happen?
I’ve got one of these and it fits my iPhone Xs in with a case on
If you don't mind it sent by courier rather than Royal Mail. Some may want to note this.
Tablet maybe a bit too far, unless it’s the same size as an iPhone 7 Plus. That’s pretty much the maximum extension possible.
I assume this has now expired as the link is now showing OOS and £174.95
Heat! Just under £30 less than Jessops reduced price for the (older?) lever version - £118.36
Manfrotto element 79 in currys, little more compact for travel
Kept looking on Jessops for this to come up. Bargain!
Awww gutted!!! Prob best travel Tripp’s out there! For a minute there I thought it was the befree with the fluid head. ( the one I want ) Heat!!!!
I didn't bother trying to cancel the Wex order as it had shipped by the time I spotted the Park Cameras offer. Under £80 is still a pretty sweet deal on this tripod though so missing out on saving another £4.95 isn't so bad. Enjoy your new tripod, skiking!
I bought it from wex an hour before your post. I take it you cancelled Wex. Did you try to see if they price matched?
Good find! I've just ordered one from Wex but then found that Park Cameras have a 25% discount off the £99 price so it's even cheaper from there! https://www.parkcameras.com/p/6379968M/carbon-fibre-tripods/benro/slim-carbon-fibre-tripod-kit-with-ball-head
Thank you, ordered one, I suppose you can't go wrong at that price
I think that would depend how tall you are. However, at this price, and to see how you get on with a tripod generally, I'd say that this is a great oppertunity to try one out at a very cheap price.
whoop! love being a student........ ;) ordered thanks OP
Is this good enough height wise or is the 60 a better option. New to photography and not bought a tripod before. Heat for the great price.
Nice one. 15% student discount as well for student prime members.
Looks like i m late in posting this.. mod pls delete
When I posted the deal there were five units in stock. That's why I said that one person was going to get lucky, seems they already did before you got there unfortunately.
Well that was stupid.
Ha ha! I bought 3 and left 1..... (ninja)
Says 55 pounds
My dslr was stolen from a hotel room with it still on the bottom :-/
I’ve got the compact traveller pro but need new quick release plate anybody know best place as they seem to be around £15 quid and that’s about what I paid in sale for tripod
Bet this is shocking, you're probably better holding your camera in your hands than using this :p On a serious note, id buy a gorilla pod or something if you just want a lightweight versatile tripod you can easily carry around you. Then you just use that to attach to various objects like fences, or rocks you find on your way. If you're going tripod either way you need some weight in it, and this thing just won't have it (or hold extra weight you may add)
Well good for you :)
I have bought it. The beauty of if things last or not is that they generally come with a guarantee.
The OP says that because of a mistake on the in-store promotional materials they agreed to give him a tripod with the purchase of a single light rather than him having to buy two lights to get it. However isn't that just down to the discretion of the manager at the time you visit your local branch? Unless it has become their national policy to do this then some might just say "Sorry, the promotional materials are wrong", or if aware of the problem they might have removed the materials mentioning the tripod deal altogether from display.
The instore promotional material should be the same as in picture, no may not be a local glitch
Price in picture above is ex.Vat. including vat it's 22.50 for 24w.
Cold, local glitch only.
Is it a different price in store? Online price is £22.49
Yeah may be i will wait couple more weeks before start to chase them (y) (y)
Me neither, but it did say allow up to 60 days. Was hoping it’d arrive by now though.
Any news about the free gift.. i haven't heard anything after the confirmation email. Thanks
Hi, I received a “redemption confirmation” email immediately after submitting the claim. It explains that the claim will need to be validated before the head is sent out.
Just stumbled across this post, handy to have as not always easy to carry the standard tripod. Looks a decent price at 9.97
Thanks Google, whatever I just typed in to Google and it corrected my eyes will never be the same again. Man frotting is hmm just no.
Black is cheaper at Amazon £12.99 https://www.amazon.co.uk/Manfrotto-Tripod-Handgrip-Compact-Cameras/dp/B00D76RNLS?th=1, only 3 left
