Anyone seen the email ??
"We created YouTube Premium to provide an uninterrupted YouTube experience, so that you can get closer to the videos, creators and music artists that you love. To continue delivering great service and features, we will be increasing your Premium family plan price from ARS 179.00/month to ARS 699.00/month."
Pretty big increase I think, but a google search reveals it's happening across the board - not just Argentina.

Argentinians need these prices, you don't

If you were after the music then take advantage of the 85p Tidal plan. (edited)
And I'd wager that you're probably not even logged in because if you click on the 3 dots underneath any video you get a choice of either "Not Interested" or "Don't Recommend this Channel" for any "rubbish you don't want to see".
I'll have a nose around later on.
Has not worked for me after my tries so far!
I just don't think I could use Youtube the way I do with advertisements to the point where if I was forced to I would probably go back to paying the UK price.
Wonder if the other cheap regions have such a big increase. (edited)
Out of all the paid streaming apps ,I probably watch the most stuff on you tube.
Is it because they know many of us are UK based and let it slide till now?
I can't imagine the hell I'd face from the family if I tried to save a few quid and ended up bricking it.
£1.10 in October, £1 in November and now this. It's still worth it though.

Soon it will be £30, then £50... Just wait.
That is quite a jump and lot of profit across the board for Alphabet! Time to buy shares
Also I'm assuming you were using a credit/debit card issued in the UK?
I ask as someone cancelled to try and move to another country and they can't verify their payment method now. Google did change their system and its supposed to require a card issued in the country you are creating the subscription in.
