Hi all,
Just a quick one. I'm expecting a delivery via Royal Mail following a purchase on Amazon.
I've just had a notification saying that they "attempted delivery - no answer". Now this is a blatant lie as we have a Ring doorbell and nobody has been.
Is there anything I can do, potentially claim compensation? Normally I wouldn't mind if it was delayed but why don't they just say so?
Thanks

sorted byoften this will get them by as no one bothers to complain and people will just think they didn't hear the bell and they don't mind redirecting the delivery to another day. it is certainly annoying when you make a special effort to stay in and wait for them and then they don't deliver as scheduled, and it becomes worse if you had to take a day off work to wait for them.
