Amazon Prime £4.49 ?

Looked at getting back Amazon Prime for the next 2-3 months... and it pops up with £4.49 offer.
This is AFTER I have picked option that I am NOT a student.

Bit confused.. I thought it was £4.49 a month just for students... and around 8-9 quid for other folks...

    I was offered the student option of 6 months free, then £4.49 per month thereafter.
    Well they offered, why would I refuse?

    Are you student? If not.. did they ask you for any verification? student id? email in .ac.uk domain? anything ?

    Already finished my run of 3 months premium at £4.49 I was offered. Not a student here either.

    Well... gone with 6 months free student offer that was also showing up.
    Hopefully they don't mind that I have finished university in 2004.
