Best sub £250 smartphone please?

Hello I'm looking to buy a new phone with a good all round spec, which is ideally under £250 and also has a micro SD card slot.

    Samsung A34 or A54 although both over budget unless you could find a decent refurbished version?

    Otherwise, possibly a Pixel 6a in similar refurbished condition which should be available for a reasonable price given 7a's release a while ago. No SD card slot on Pixels though.

    Search for “smartphone under £400” on here to get an idea of what is available within your budget, will have to do some research on whether or not it has an SD card slot!

    Definitely consider the Pixel 6a if you don't mind having 128GB of non-expandable storage. The CPU and camera quality will be much better than any other phone at that price point.
