Cardhu gold single malt whiskey only £23.50 @ Amazon

Lowest price comparing recent deals Great tasting whiskey

WHISKY. That is all.

I like this one too. So easy to drink you could be half a bottle through before you know it! When it’s reduced I think the price is fair

Fair enough. I'll amend for next time

Bang on except the penultimate bit. I personally think it's a deliciously smooth malt and well worth 25 notes - but not more.

yeh, I quite like it, quite sweet, another one that is often around £25 somewhere, so you'd be mad to pay rrp

Cardhu, fine if you like something that tastes like petrol

Indeed Bunnahabhain is a superb dram at well worth £30 -£33

Hands down the most disappointing whisky purchase of my life, not that I really hoped for much at £25 but I absolutely could not drink it straight and was forced to mix it with coke. Having said that it made an excrellent whisky and coke, so it gets points for that.

It’s a decent, easy drinking whisky. I got a bottle as a gift at Christmas and think its well worth it at this price.

What about the poor fella that bought 6 yesterday ...... £26 each thought he was on a winner . Though he did say he was hammered when he purchased lol (lol)

Fact it has been posted yet again shows people are lured by that artificially high RRP that looks like a huge discount when it drops to it's real price of around £25. It's a £25 whisky (just) in terms of quality all day long.

This is always £22/26 somewhere though, and currently £25 in Waitrose -

Cardhu Gold Reserve. £25 + £5.99 delivery or £2.99 C+C @ Waitrose Cellar

A lovely whisky. Yes it's a blend, but a blend of great malts to make a smooth and palatable whisky. One of my favourites. I ordered 6 for £156 £43 each on Amazon. Enjoy!

Probably best not to post deals after a bottle of whisky. Can't even remember posting this and wtf why did I order 6!! Hope it's easy to cancel a Waitrose order. Back to suffer my hangover, enjoy your day all.

bought this at christmas for about 25 nice single malt but better prices frequently come around

This regularly hits £25 with a huge looking discount from an artificially high RRP. It's just about it's money at £25 but way to sweet for me. Glenmorangie 10 often gets to this price if you can wait and is much better if you like a sweeter dram. Sorry OP but got to vote cold.

It's a single malt. You can even see that on the picture. Rolls eyes. Regularly flips between 25 - 28 pounds and full price in the £40s. Just wait until in the 20s

Mind you, it's hard to imagine anyone buying six ... So maybe. :/

one of my favourites i must admit. love it. not the best admittedly, but for me its super and easy drinking.

I bought it last time it was this price. It is ok but I was a bit underwelmed. I will not be buying it again even at this price.

Don't believe the RRP, that's just to show a discount to it's real price of £25. It's okay for £25 but too sweet for me.

Also £25 at Asda and Waitrose. Very drinkable...

It's a good malt, although I find it too sweet for my palate. It's 'no age statement' but very smooth with no smokiness and difficult to go wrong if you're buying it as a present for someone.

Cardhu Gold Gift Pack only £29.99 @ The Whisky World
Found 13th Dec 2017Found 13th Dec 2017
Found this for £29.90. usually around £40 great Christmas gift!

considering the 2 free glasses, it's a pretty good price - but honestly Cardhu gold is the worst single malt I've ever purchased and I ended up mixing it with Coke - which actually tasted really nice. It's sickeningly sweet and has too much caramel colouring.

Long may it last!

I tend to find these sort of deals in Tesco. I suppose it depends on the store and what they have over stocked.

I've done well out of Asad recenttly - I think they must have been clearing the shelves for christmas stock but this is the second single malt scotch I've got for £15 - the last one was back on sale on the shelves at full price a couple of weeks later so I don't know why they needed to get rid of the one I got!

No worries, got a little excited there, couldn't miss out on a deal like that (lol) Good find!

Just bagged a couple of bottles for £17 each off Amazon

Bought one when reduced in Morrisons - not that good, quite raw tasting and would have been gutted if I had paid full price. The speyside in LIdl at £17.49 is much better (probably better than some the usual brand name) IMHO

I go off taste rather than what's on the bottle, which is only really a guide as to the quality.

i did not at any point say you could not drink any non age statement whisky, the reason we should not buy it so we get age statement whisky and know what we are buying with our money, it benefits the seller not the consumer. Its the enemy of transparency. Ardbeg udigal and many others are very decent but many more are bad or young, it's a long term negative for whisky buyers, i vote with my money, buy a 10 year old laphroiag instead or Some highland park 12 which is often in the price range and fantastic.

Tastes like diesel. Clearly, tastes vary. :)

£25 at asda Trafford

Agreed, much prefer the 12 year old

Definitely overpriced for a no age statement whisky, I tried this last year but wasn't impressed, it's reduced to £30 nearly every month which tells you something (Like Glenlivet founders reserve)

its £45 here so hot deal

Cardhu 12 Year Old Single Malt Whisky 700ml £22.51 at Sainsburys

Just found this deal on Cardhu 12 Year Old Single Malt Whisky, normally priced at £33.77 but on offer for £22.51: Cardhu is a single malt whisky made in limited quantities at the … Read more

Nice enough whisky, and a major component of Johnny Walkers. However the description is pure marketing b*ll*cks copied and pasted from somewhere. "limited quantities" - current production is over 2 million litres / year! "proper way / traditional way" - it's made the same as every other single malt, and it couldn't legally be called malt whisky if it wasn't made from malted barley, water and distilled in copper stills before being matured in oak casks for over 3 years! Ho hum, but have a little heat for the deal, though the original price is Sainsbury's over inflated for 4 weeks price to make the discount appear larger. It usually sells for around £28/bottle! Rufus.

been this price for a couple of weeks, along with glenfiddich 12 year old which is 20 pound something.

12 years old,I thought they were not allowed to sell stuff past their sell by date!(_;)
