7 Psychopaths was a shocker. Poor plot, cheesy. Wanted to turn it off but gave it a chance

Top 5-Avengers Infinity War,Star is Born,Deadpool 2,Ready Player One and Bohemian Rhapsody(seen Three Billboards last year but an amazing film.preferred 7 Psychopaths but good director)

Worth it then. Tied Film of the year imho along with Three Bilboards.

Deadpool, Logan, Kingsman Secret service 4k Blu Ray £24.99 theentertainmentstore Ebay

Can't say for sure but what you might have seen is images that are "upscaled" (sure there's a better word for it) to HDR. Ie someone's taken a normal photo/video and pushed the saturation up super high. The result is usually a horrendous image where even the dullest of colours are almost painfully bright and everything has a really fake and almost cartoony look. True HDR is often a lot more subtle but a really great effect (imo). It should work so that things that are actually bright and colourful really stand out. It's not always done well, but I personally think it looks spectacular when done properly.

I agree. Looks better but not so much that you would way out for a tv and player. However the 4K PS4 games do look epic

No disrespect to OP but this isn’t that great of a deal to be honest - I’ve picked up kingsman for £6, Deadpool for £8, & Logan for £10 since collecting 4K Blu Rays :p I guess Instore price would be a lot more so I’ll give you heat for that anyway! (y)

Not keen on Logan

I probably haven't seen great HDR, but I really hate what I have seen. Is HDR supposed to make films looks like they were filmed on video? Looks horrible.

Nothing yet I’m afraid

Mine says exactly the same for the Rick & Morty Vynl that I ordered the same evening. Meant to have been dispatched last Wednesday but I very much doubt it left their warehouse. The latest delivery against the order on the account is 7th Dec. That one has been shown as sold out on their site since last week if I remember correctly.

Yep. I think they're keeping hold of the Paypal payments for as long as necessary to pad their stats out. Is there a way of blocking sellers on this site so you don't see their deals? No way I'll ever be ordering from them again after this. I swore last time they messed up an order but couldn't resist this. Won't make the same mistake again.

dispatch email says delivery 28th nov till 7th dec, so ill wait till 8th theb email. i ordered on 24th nov. has any1 got theirs?

yes, sent email and i did pay by PayPal. This is a Joke that's why I never buy from Zavvi. They are useless.

Matter of taste and opinion, and we all know about opinions right ?

Don't really understand the appeal of getting movies like this in 4k, dime a dozen cookie cutter movies

How are they the same? One requires you to buy another item for the offer price but the other just required a purehmv card shown in store. Also one is online only the other is instore only.

It's a different deal as detailed above by others including myself. The price of the item is the same agreed but that price can be found one of two ways...

How exactly?

You're completely wrong

Those clearly aren't the same. Only involves HMV card and one doesn't.

It's exclusive to HMV in the U.K, don't you know how steel book exclusives work?

Just picked a copy up from my local HMV, had to ask at the counter for it as they only had the standard edition on the shelf at £25, all the steel books were in the back :/

Why is everyone hating on the Artwork, it look's great in keeping with Deadpools charm. At least it has some character too, many steelbooks look incredibly lame

I was talking about the artwork on the cover.

When HMV, or indeed any UK retailer, uses the word exclusive what they actually mean is exclusive within the UK, not worldwide. Same steelbook could be available in dozens of countries but if its only available from one retailer, with the UK, then its still an exclusive.

Just got the super cut for £10 today with digital download Cheaper than Amazon at the moment that have it for £14.99

Tesco Watford

From Tesco, or elsewhere?

Managed to get the super cut for £10 so thanks

Might be worth waiting till after Xmas, another cut of the film is coming out rumoured to be called Deadpool 2 Entering the MCU, its Ryan Reynolds reading a bedtime story to Fred Savage (Wonder years, Princes Bride) and the film edited to be a 12. The idea to show Disney Deadpool can also enter the MCU as his family friendly. The Fox/Disney deal is going through a lot quicker than most though, it should be complete early january So no doubt it will be on bluray eventually as a 3 disc movie set.

HMV: 2 Blu Rays for £25 including Deadpool 2, Hereditary
Found 3rd OctFound 3rd Oct
A mix of old and new titles here, 760 to pick from

Those who might not be able to show their kids Deadpool. Ryan Reynolds is doing a new version, its being redited to a 12/PG-13. Its being done similar to the Princess Bride, they even got Fred Savage to come back whilst Deadpool reads him a bedtime story. Suppose to even get a cinema release. Might be fun to see how they tone everything down. Think the idea is to show Disney that it can be toned down enough for him to join the MCU as the deal with Fox is slowly going through.

If you don't watch many films then why would you think people would want to know your opinion on a film?

I don't watch many films, as most just don't appeal. I quite enjoyed the first dead pool that's why I watched the sequel

I agree it wasn't great but you're so lucky if that's the worst film you've seen in years.

Picture and sound quality perhaps?

I have the 55 inch version and I think it’s brilliant, chose this one as it’s literally one of the only 4K ones with a scart port aswell as lots of hdmi and USB ports, got the old Nintendo 64 hooked up aswell as the new consoles and pc, for the money it’s fantastic

They still owe me redundancy payments from 2011, might go & have a word!

What on earth is the point of this? Blockbuster promoting a store that doesn't exist. Deadpool promoting a film that they are giving away anyway. And for the majority of their existence they were mostly DVD so why reminisce about vhs!
