Besides to kill germs the water would have to be hot enough to take the skin of your hands. And before you had even got out of your bathroom those germs would be replaces with more. Germs are not all bad far from it less then 0.1% are and you can even happy have all of those on your skin without it doing you harm. People have been brainwashed to be far too sensitive about all this stuff because it sells products. It's good to stay clean but in general the only time you need to worry it when preparing food and cross contamination. How many people take napkins that have been in restraints for god knows how long and wipe the mouth with them? they think it's safe why? because they are white?
These are easily refilled by pulling the bottle out when empty and then holding the plastic collar under the hot tap to loosen it slightly and it easily pulls off and snaps back in place after refilling. I bought one of these in a sale a couple of years back and refill it with cheaper handwash. The battery hasn't needed replacing yet and it still works perfectly. The soap seems to last longer as it dispenses less than a manual pump so well worth the money I reckon. Ocado also selling for this price. :D
I have 2 of these. Firstly, the batteries last a long time (and easily replaced by re-chargeable). Second, it's easy to take the refill apart and fill from a cheap 5 litre container.
I was about to buy it but after some research i'm not impressed anymore you'll have to buy the batteries and you'll have to buy the specific expensive refills (or drill the original refill and add a cap) i'm using a manual dispenser and i'm fine with that, if we think about it, it's ok if you touch the dispenser as you will wash your hands right after anyway..
Just an overpriced and expensive gimmick. Move on.
