Suppose I got a bad batch :)
Maybe not fast but it is obviously a 100% increase. To be honest if you're going to put you phone onto charge for 6 hours while you sleep it could be argued that a 0.5A charger would be best. I think everyone knows by now that batteries last longest when they're not charged/discharged to extremes. I think the advice these days is to go for top up charges to try and keep your phone between 40 and 70%. So when your phone reaches 100% charge over night and then stays there is causes significant battery wear. So a 0.5A charger would mean your phone would take longer to reach 100% and therefore have less time there before you wake up. Or just get a new phone year in year out.
Bought one of these in black from Amazon twice the price last week (annoyed)
Should be expired.
Depends what you mean by fast charging. Would allowing the device to draw 2A rather than being restricted to 1A by the power supply be considered fast charging?
