Recent Motorolas have been pretty close to stock Android. Their updates aren't as good as Nokia promise, but if Nokia ain't delivering...
Who else is doing a clean bloatware free os for cheap?
Toss up between the X20 and 8.3, more internal storage vs better cameras, went for 8.3 for the cameras
I just picked up an 8.3 and got the 11 update straightaway. Happy with it for £300
I think the 8.3 is the better phone and can be had (from Nokia themselves) for around this price. But right now, even as a huge Nokia fan, I don't recommend buying a Nokia because of the mess and broken promises they've made of the Android 11 rollout and the total silence from them over this. For a long time Nokia hardware has been mediocre but we loved it anyway because of the promise of pure Android with frequent updates. Take away the updates and there's really no reason to stay with them - a Xiaomi of the same price will be far better specced, and others are doing nearly-stock Android too so there's little real difference with the software experience. If you really must buy a Nokia then I'd suggest leaving it a few months to see how they're doing on updates still as ultimately that is the selling point of the brand.
