Silentnight king duvet set - £8.75 instore @ Tesco (Great Yarmouth)
343°
Found 3rd FebFound 3rd Feb
Silentnight grey king size duvet set. £8.75 down from £35. Found in Great Yarmouth Extra. Had one more in stock this afternoon, plus a single version (no price though).
the quality is not upto the mark .
Saw this a few days ago in my local (Warrington) but didn't buy it. They had single, double and kingsize fitted sheets too for between £2-£4 although they were white.
Hope my nearest Tesco has got this or something similar.
Paid double for this a few weeks back and we love it its very soft.

Have some heat.

Of course I love them because I have to have them for comfort but I hate them because they dont last. I have had cheap ones , and relatively expensive ones. Why dont they ever do what they say they do? Does anyone have any that are actually good?

I have the Dunlopillo Super Comfort Standard Pillow which is expensive but it's the best pillow I have ever had and I'm confident it will last me years. I've been using it for about 9 months and it still seems like brand new. I tried memory foam but they make me overheat and I find feather ones just loose all support no matter how much you spend on them.

Do exactly the same. Have 2 controlling both sides of the blanket. When I first set one up for my side I got the usual oh here we go another gadget response. A few nights of asking Alexa to turn my blanket on when we are downstairs watching TV and all of a sudden someone wants one their side!
We have bought these in the past, had no problems, just put them on 10 mins to warm the sheets,i would say however silentnight electric blankets are a bit on the small size.prefer morrisons own make
I wouldn't advise linking any source of heat to any smart plug T.B.H.

Setting one and two are recommended for use in conjunction with the plug. We do not recommend leaving the blanket on setting three for prolonged periods of time.

Not true, you can control the plug, not the blanket.

Each heat selector unit is fitted with an over-heat protection thermal fuse that would trip out the unit permanently when a ‘hot spot’ or short circuit is detected.

I'll see if bin hasn't been emptied later.
I should have stated in first post that mine wasn't this model of blanket... Sorry.
Just thought I'd make people aware, i didn't even think about getting a new one because this one worked fine. My advice is if its getting old then think about getting a new one, it's not worth the risk.

Costco CS is exceptional. I had a pair of Memory Foam pillows which lost their shape and ability to come back to form. They were 5 years old. I mentioned them to my local Costco CS and they told me to bring them back. After 5 years I was given a full cash refund. I am not sure you get exactly the same service with their mail order service, but I cannot see why it would be any different.
Doesn't Costco have excellent customer service? A mattress should last at least 6 years IMO, so if the quality diminishes considerably over 2-3 years, can't you just contact Costco to get another mattress free of charge or a full refund? I'm sure I've read on here people complaining about electrical items developing a fault after a couple of years and they collected the item plus refunded....
We got the double for the spare room, when it was on an Amazon Lightening deal for £119, now not sold by Amazon. There was very little smell with it and it is very comfortable. We took the cover off to wash and it is very cheap looking foam. I cannot see it lasting, if it is your main mattress. Good for a spare room and this is very good value.
Also worth noting that your house WILL SMELL LIKE YOU’RE GROWING CANNABIS for a good couple of weeks after opening up this.

Agree I also find mine a bit ‘luke warm’ even on high setting (3). Takes ages to heat up too. But IMO if available for the above prices then still worth it.

WOW!£423 + £212 ----------£635----------Holey cats!Erm.. .. .. Having not bought a mattress for a while - would it be a bit of a risk to buy a mattress from an online retailer .. .insofar as you haven't sat on it or laid on it or what not... So although it says lots of springs and so on...iHow would you know what it actually is like .. ... Until its delivered?? What if its too hard/or too soft or ?As I say - I haven't purchased one online before.... Does ££££ necessarily lead to comfort? Or do they have a natural "shelf life" etc?Thinking about it - imagine the number of times you have laid and (((coughs))) on your mattress for!!Wow!Have some heat from me!

I completely agree with you that its best to buy the mattresses at the store but you wont find it at these prices.

I have tried few with the similar description/features at different retailers as silentnight makes the same products with different fancy names for different retailers. The prices for the similar mattress at Dreams or anyother store for kingsize is 500+.

Ps. If I won’t like it then I’ll send it back within return policy days..
Suppose its not bad if you have tried this mattress, and you know what you are getting. We have just tried the Simba mattress, great first week, then it started to sag, almost in a huge dip/crater now.

Simba isn't too hot, nothing like the memory foam ones, they are horrendous.
Not sure about this mattress, seems a good price though. We just got the EVE delivered from the Amazon Boxing Day sale @£400, would certainly recommend it.
