Mega Movie Week 2020 MEGA THREAD - Digital sale films from £2.99 multi platform including iTunes, Google, Prime etc...

Mega Movie week is now live! In order to keep it neat Ive attempted to make a Mega Thread here (like i did last year), ill be updating deals as i find them due to the possibility not all deals have gone live at the time of writing and the deals can remain hidden in the depths of the stores until found or advertised publically, indeed some deals didn't appear until later in the day.

Please feel free to add them as you find them too, otherwise we will have 1 post for each film x each platform!

Deal prices were fairly consistent across all platforms, so ill try to include Amazon Prime Video, the Apple TV app, BT TV Store, CHILI, the Google Play Store, Microsoft Store, PlayStation Store, Rakuten TV, Sky Store and Talk Talk TV.

FYI guys ive spotted about 5 more titles that have just been reduced, so reductions are ongoing. Please feel free to keep updating this, or post your finding individually. I posted this for the benefit of you all, but i grow tired of the constantly moving goalposts on here....one HUKD team member insists on individual deals, another wants discussion threads. If i post individually ill be told off for flooding the site. I genuinely cannot win...and the most annoying thing is the very generic emails you get from the team members with no name so theres no accountability as to who is making these decisions.

Ok, i think ill go to bed rather than looking for deals. This has just been moved by a mod to discussion, it would appear they want the films posted individually as deals, so feel free to flood the place with itunes deals guys....then be criticised for posting them individually. You cant win on here.

I agree, no point in having each film posted up individually and then posted again separately for iTunes,Amazon video,google and so on.

MODS,can we have this put back to being a deal so everyone can have a one stop shop for the Mega Movie Week deals,that way everyone can all chip in what they have found and then have it added to the list at the top. (edited)

I think the biggest issue with this years sale, the titles are not as new as last year. Lots of older titles in the sale that weve all picked up previously in sales... hmm.

As usual, the mod never put their name to it, just a generic email. Apparently because its crossplatform it has to be a discussion. Therefore HUKD obviously want us to post 50+ films x several platforms, so probably several hundred individual digital film deals.

Ironically i posted this list for last Years MMW, and that stayed a deal rather than being moved, hence why its so annoying that mods do stuff like this, its really contradictory. I asked the mods if they want me to remove all platform preferences aside from itunes to make this a deal again, but alas they havent sent me a reply. (edited)

We could just flood the place full of deals and make it impossible for everyone, I’d go with changing it to just itunes

Im guessing this is all down to making money from the deals, and megathreads dont earn them anything. Its such a shame this site has stopped being about the sharing of information, more about the money. I noticed a huge change when the pepper program came into effect...

The mods could do with an overhaul on here. Why is there no other problem with mega threads in the deals category? Do not get it. (edited)

I've just been reading the messages between and and would just like to say I have no idea what Metalex is talking about. When this thread/deal went live it was being continually updated from midnight, well before iTunes were even advertising Mega Movie Week, clearly as Estoril and others were finding the deals they were being added in real time, so if Metalex checked bang on midnight obviously there probably weren't many posted because the deals had to be found the hard way but by about 00:20 there was a fair sized list and it was around that point that the deal was changed to a discussion if memory serves. Anyway,a s this was all being done without any advertised deals by itunes etc. I find it weird that Metalex would suggest lack of effort, he seems to just have a bee in his bonnet.
