Robot lawnmowers - Einhell FREELEXO 400 - any good on hills?

Posted 10th Apr 2023
Hi all, am after any personal reviews of the Einhell robot mowers.

I have been wanting a robot lawnmower for a while. Lawn is around 300 m2, but not in one big square (so may need some fancy boundary wire work...). Has anyone out there got an oddly shaped lawn? How does the robot mower cope with this (mines like a question mark shape, or maybe a C with a tail!)

Other than this, the other (probably bigger) sticking point is that although the entire garden has a slight slope, at one point there is a fairly steep slope. How accurate have people found the incline figures on mowers?

Any tips for a robot mower newbie?

Thanks!

I have a Worx Landroid and I absolutely adore it. It's one of the best gadgets I've ever bought. I have absolutely no experience of the Einhell but recently my brother in law bought a Flymo Easymo Go and asked me to help him install it this Easter weekend. We set it all up and it was absolutely terrible. In the end we had to take it back to Argos for a refund. Now he has order the Landroid (like I first suggested to him!) and it should be arriving today for him.

So not all robot mowers are the same! (edited)

Thanks! What was so bad about the flymo? Do you think it's a case that some mowers suit some gardens?
