I found this for £29.99 while browsing the B&Q app and it hits 2 needs for me which is good because money is tight.
Construction looks like it's solid but I'm put off by the lack of reviews online. Nowhere seems to have any kind of review on this thing and I can't see it in my local store.
Anyone have thoughts on it or the brand? I can find cheap edgers elsewhere but cheap core areators have the holes on the side and seem flimsy whereas this seem similar to sturdier tools.

sorted byAt least it's car boot season. You might be able to pick up a 2nd hand one for a couple of quid.
I've found dethatching seems to improve the best - if you don't want to buy / hire a scarifier just use a lawn rake...you won't need to go to the gym afterwards!!
My lawn is small and damaged but not 100% sure I need to areate it. I need to overseed quite a bit and thought aerating may help that process.
I believe there is a 4 solid tine areator as well as a 2 hollow tine areator on it. Most likely I would only use the hollow tine and the half moon edger.
My rear lawn was compressed by years of rolling and probably would benefit with digging up completely and relaying, but I thought I would give this a go first.
