Would appreciate help choosing between these dishwashers as I know nothing about them - thank you!

Morning all - I've never bought a dishwasher before, I can get Currys vouchers through work which saves me on some tax so need to pick one from there.

I like the look of the Samsung and LG ones as I'm looking for a clean looking front if possible. Can anyone recommend or advise against these two please?

having changed to Bosch one with seaprate cutlery shelf, would never buy with basket again.
So LG, but I wouldn't want WiFi stuff, seems gimmick and extra thing to go wrong.

Oh wow - you've completely saved me there as I had already decided I wanted the cutlery shelf and hadn't realised they Samsung didn't have one. I thought it did. Been looking at too many. Cheers for that.

Totally agree with you on smart features, won't be switching on my dishwasher with my phone... Ever. Very pointless..

Thanks for that but I'm not using the WOW points it's a voucher that you pay back via salary sacrifice.

Wow those are expensive!

Check the timings for each wash - look for one that does a quick wash and dries, a lot of them don't in a 30 minute or so cycle. Some cycles are well over two hours.

Yeah they are, I wasn't initially going to spend that much but I can do salary sacrifice which saves me 20 percent so thought I'd get a decent one and keep it a long time as I tend to do with things, but decent and look after it. I do like the look of the steam feature on the LG so it would get used and I'd get my money's worth I think.

I'd pay more and buy from somewhere other than Currys. Somewhere with a vague comprehension of good customer service. (edited)
