Word of warning to those who are thinking about doing this.

I’ve been doing it for a couple months, initially great but lately hit and miss.

Firestick updated the app and sometimes it detects you’re using a VPN and won’t let you watch.

Same goes for browser; wanted to watch a match the other day and gave up.

Phone been the same lately, although doesn’t give you the VPN detected message, just simply doesn’t play.

Also worth noting that whilst the Paramount+ app lets you cast, if you try cast the football it won’t work.

When it works, it’s great. But proving unreliable lately.

Looks like you'll need to disable ipv6 to get this to work, if your internet provider uses it (eg BT does), and your vpn provider doesn't block ipv6. Otherwise paramount site will detect you are in the UK

For anyone who doesn't know: search for network connections in start menu, right-click your ethernet adapter, properties, find ipv6 and deselect. You can turn it back on later no problem. (edited)

Is there a disadvantage in turning off ipv6 ? What is it there for ? Thanks

no sign up is just email - you don't need the VPN to sign up (just sign up in app being in the UK) - just use the VPN when you want to access the EPL content

Why do people do this when you can get full sky sports for like £8 + £10 for sky signature

So £18 a month if you are not willing to pay that for football you should not be watching it

There is a delicious irony about getting Paramount Plus included in your Sky Package and then using it to watch football Sky don't broadcast in the UK via a VPN
    Bbqueue's avatar
I've had it for 3 months on a free trial and didn't even realise you could use it to get footy via a vpn 🤦🏻

I already have a paramount+ sub with my sky package. Can I still take advantage of this??
    NSA's avatar
I'd also be interested to know the answer to this!

I've just looked on my Sky GO app and it doesn't look like it's on there so does that mean I can only access it on my Sky Q box?

EDIT: Just read on the Sky website that Paramount Plus isn't available on the Sky GO app!
Also, I can't see a way for people with Sky Cinema (Who get Paramount + free) being able to sign onto Paramount + in any way other than their Sky box as we don't get issued with a username/password to access it (I seem to recall that Sky sent an email and you simply had to click a URL and link your Sky box to P+ (edited)

I signed up to NordVPN and whatever country I set it to (even the uk !) it won't let me sign into paramount plus (on windows laptop.) It says 'Invalid Token'. Please help ! Thx.
    Anfield's avatar
Make sure that you're connected to your VPN & set to the right location. Then sign in to your PP account via an 'incognito' tab on chrome.
  34. Cantona's avatar
OK progress, if I google paramountplus when connected to the VPN (instead of using stored URL) then I CAN connect and things look promising. But when I click on Man utd v Fulham I get a 3304 error. So close ! Can anyone advise ? Thx.
    Diabolik88's avatar
With that username why on earth do you want to watch it?

It's not impossible that your team will get a larruping off Chelsea's ickle nephew this afternoon

I’m using Express vpn and it doesn’t work. Which vpn works for this?
    buttonmoonfan's avatar
Nord is working for me on my Android tablet and Windows PC. Would try it on the Firestick but the TV is knackered.
  36. danzig1's avatar
Anyone know which of the options discussed on this thread works best with chromecast? Vidio is Ok, and works with VPN set to Indonesia, but only runs at 30hz. Anything else that runs smoother on chromecast?
    Al-Pacino's avatar
Even peacock, which runs at 1080/60 (but they not showing every 3pm kickoff, sometimes they select games to usa network) is bad now for me... any vpn I try, I never get full hd picture.
    Wasnt the case last season...
  37. fkhan786's avatar
    Got it working. Thanks.

If you subscribe to the one week trial then attempt to cancel before the trial is over, it will offer you three months at £3.49/month.

Does the paramount plus and mexico vpn only let you watch the 3pm saturday games ?
I tried the later 5.30 kick off and the chelsea game today and got "oh no it looks like you're using a vpn ...etc" message. The 3pm game worked fine on saturday ??
