Alternative cleaning solution to use in my Rugdoctor?

Posted 22nd Aug 2023
I have a Rugdoctor Mighty Pro X3, and the last time I bought the 4L bottle was £14.99 in Dec 21... it's now £22.

Wondering if anyone has used anything else in their Rugdoctor (and not broken their machine or ruined their carpet)?

I've used NO NONSENSE CARPET CLEANING DETERGENT before in hired rugdoctor machines. I can't post a link as apparently the retailer is currently banned. Worked well - but was also a lot cheaper when I bought it.

Thanks Van I'll check it out. Also surprised Scrwefix is banned.

I have one of those spotwash vac machines. I find washing powder is quite good at cleaning general dirt. And it doesn't get too foamy etc.

Does that mean you put a bit of washing powder on the affected area, rub it in with some water and then use your vac machine?
