Oh sorry, I forgot ranting about nothing in particular for no real reason at someone trying to help is a sign of great serenity. My bad.

That's subjective really. I tend not to start with "lol" when I'm upset. I'm sure there are other places you can troll. Nice chatting to you though. <3

You sound upset

Lol. Just cause you were born to a sixteen year old school drop out doesn't mean we all were. Not all granddads are in their 30s like yours. I just appreciate music where lyrics actually meant something

RUBBISH. first time I used it (3 months after purchase) on air plane plug them in and the cable on the left ear is loose and sounds either dead or crackly and you have to hold the wire in a certain position for it to work. amazon didn't give a monkeys neither did seller despite the 12 month guarantee

Anything above a mid-volume- No!

Can you hear outside noise though? Like cars? I'm after some that will be good for cycling.

For those of you who were wondering like me if the reviews were fake, they are mostly genuine:

I have these (i think, or a similar model) bought for a similar price from Amazon about a year ago. only use them at the gym First 2 weeks they were amazing, then for about a month they were playing up, anytime my arms would pass my neck, for example Lat pulldowns, Shoulder presses etc my sound would stutter or jump/stop completely. No idea what would cause it and it used to annoy the hell out of me, then out the blue it just stopped doing it and hasnt happened for a very long time. Hold their charge quite well too.

Thought it was absolutely typical, just bought these Monday on a daily deal - but that's the newer model, although I can't see many differences other than a different in-line control and a claimed 8hr battery life vs 6hr on these. To echo some comments from above though, although they do come with a variety of interchangeable buds they all have the ear hook on, so if you don't want these for sport you might want to look elsewhere. The SoundPEATS Q30 are the same price (as the newer TaoTronics) and come with a load of different buds with and without the hook. I swapped mine with some I had on a pair of unused wired headphones and am fairly happy with them now, but it can be a little awkward to achieve a tight seal. Once you've got that though they do sound very good, somewhat surprisingly.

People who want more battery life I imagine. Just a punt though

Also who is voting this cold?

Ok, as shockclown says they are brilliant in everyway except for the battery life

Skullcandy Uproar Wireless Bluetooth Headphones - Instore £12.50 @ Tesco (likely regional) (Brockworth, Gloucester)

Found these in my local (Brockworth, Gloucester) last night, and while probably not the greatest, and won't satisfy any audiophiles, can't really argue for £12.50

Nah, were only on the shelf for less than 24 hours, though might be worth checking round other stores :{

I live in Cheltenham (your upper class neighbour) are there any still some left?

Forgot to update, went back the following day and they'd obviously found another pair out the back, so now got the white and the black pair ;)

Heavily discounted, decent reviews for those who missed on the Bose deal last week

I’d probably say comfort to be honest. Sits in the ear better. But I suppose as a result the sound seems better

What is the difference? Sound or comfort?

poor sound quality and fall out of my ears for fun

Lower impedance on headphones means usually easier to drive, so can deliver higher volumes and cleaner sound.

Comparison of specs of the ones I bought (bottom) vs the £17 ones (top) Apart from battery life and weight (13 hours expensive vs 9 hours cheaper) The impedance is 24ohm on cheaper vs 32 on more expensive Anyone know what that means in layman terms? specs of the cheaper ones: Acoustic systemClosed Magnet typeNeodymium Impedance24 Ohm Speaker diameter32 mm Frequency range9 - 22 000 Hz Maximum power input40 mW Sensitivity103 dB DiaphragmPET specs of the ones I bought Acoustic systemClosed Magnet typeNeodymium Impedance32 Ohm Speaker diameter32 mm Frequency range9 - 22 000 Hz Maximum power input40 mW Sensitivity103 dB DiaphragmPET

Yes got it wrong but Ive amended - Thanks

You know ‘100% to 200% the price’ in the context of this deal means your saying the s8 and s9 are £200 and £400, right? If you’ve found them that cheap and share, then you’re officially The Deal King of the phone category around here ;) I agree with you that the Honor’s are a great all-rounder and would also recommend them,

Not the same version, so not exactly a fair comparison given the US one has less ram and storage.

Decent phone but not much of an upgrade on my old Honor 7 which has a very very similar processor, 1 GB less RAM and a smaller 5.2" screen yet has an IR blaster which I use a lot. The CPU in the Honor 7 is very poor for gaming too and the 659 in the 7x is like only ever so slightly better. The 7x would have been a good upgrade if the processor was a big upgrade and introduced USB type C with fast charge. Honor make some great hardware but the EMUI software and extremely rare updates really let it down. EMUI eats up a lot of RAM. This is why I'm looking at the Nokia 7 Plus as my next upgrade as opposed to this unless Motorola has something similar up their sleeves but it's not looking likely. OnePlus also is getting pricier with each release. Another thing about Nokia is that, given their recent history, their prices drop pretty quickly so you'll eventually be able to pick it up for a bargain.

Amazon provide a 2 year warranty on products bought from them and they have been fantastic so far in their service. I've had 2 items develop a fault outside 1 and within 2 years and they have offered replacement or refund, one being the Sony mdr100abn headphones.

I am not sure when the warranty runs out tbh, but did contact Sony who advised me to contact their repair centre. But instead of doing that, I got in touch of Amazon who happily gave me a refund.

Tried these when wearing them by recording them and with a laptop they don’t leak, but from half volume to max volume on the iPhone they do. Compared with my Hesh 2’s, they’re almost the same which surprises me as I thought it wasn’t that bad (from previous experience).

They’re my grandmothers :) I was wearing them to compare them with my Hesh 2’s My Hesh 2’s don’t leak volume, and even at the top volume it’s not a lot (when not wearing them- not at all when I do wear them). The Sony’s leaked volume easy and what was being listened to was clear.

Arrived yesterday, very nice build quality and look great. Not to bad a sound via Bluetooth (all headphones I have tried show a lack in quality via BT connection), even better when NC turned off if not needed. However, use the provided cable for wired connection and BOOM, true B&O quality reproduction. Love them and at £175 I do highly rate them with BT and NC just a bonus if ever needed. Cheers Op

If you intend on frequently wearing the headphones for more than 30 minutes go with the QC35ii. Im willing to bet you won’t enjoy wearing the Sonys for more than 45minutes. Otherwise I’d go Sony for slightly better sound and Bluetooth connectivity.

this or the bose qc35 ii?
