Great sound quality on these but noise leakage is through the roof. Just FYI in case you're worried about your work colleagues knowing you listen to Spice Girls.
I’ve used the QC35s once for running . They wouldn’t stay on my head on anything more than a slow jog, the NC picked up loads of wind (if you google this it seems to be an issue) and they got really really sweaty. I had the same experience with Sony equivalent except the noise wind was now just run in either my AirPods or my beat x.
I’d be interested to know if anyone had used them whilst running
I’ve had them since Christmas and use them daily. Sometimes even use them working out. Still look brand new.
Jim’s reviews has a good review on YouTube of these. I’m in the same boat. The premium for noise cancelling is high, and I’m wondering how often it would actually be beneficial.
Yes sorry that’s what I meant. Hmm very interesting! To be honest, even if they sounded the same, I think I’d struggle to justify spending twice as much of the QC 35’s... thanks for the advice Stitch (y)
No, they are not noise cancelling ones.
Are these noise cancelling?
Not true, this is 10 quid cheaper than everywhere except JL. The started price was around 239.
There is now Soundlink III as they have changed the designed completely for their latest speaker.
They had refurb stock of the mini v2 and new of the Revolve models. They said the mini v2 is no longer in production. I had chance to compare the two models although I didn't buy either from there, instead I managed to grab a new Revolve for £120 from Amazon just before Xmas.
Maybe so. But clearly they are wrong as it is still available form Bose. Maybe they had no stock and wanted you to buy something they did have.
Great sounding speaker but it's just not loud enough. I wouldn't buy one now.
So these are like qc35 but without noise cancelling?
great pair headphones got them on right now as i look on here hahaha
Only good inside. I've got Sony ones and the wind issue outside is a pain in the ars"
Got mine from here before xmas. Great cans
Actually better price (£193) at amazon if you use the BIGTHANKS code
Same price on Amazon without a code.
Amazon have price matched.... http://www.amazon.co.uk/Bose-SoundLink-Around-Ear-Wireless-Headphones/dp/B0117RGG8E/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1453412936&sr=8-1&keywords=BOSE+SoundLink+II+Wireless+Bluetooth+Headphones
curry's,the only electrical store I buy from where everything has to be returned.Won't use them again !
dont believe these prices are right anymore.
Noo...I bought it on Amazon.it at £190!!! I should cancel!!!
How about gurantees? it charges more if you add the standard 2 year guarantee?
spoke with Amazon FR, they said the stock was delayed but will be dispatched on tuedsday, they upgraded my delivery for free
Amazon.fr can take their time compared to other Amazon sites.
You have ordered it from Amazon France, not UK.I ordered my sound link from Italy in June and it took over a week to arrive.
has anyone else ordered and still waiting for dispatch? Amazon uk are never normally this slow
Bose shop in the outlet Ashford Kent had a load at £124.99. New ones coming out soon. Very good price.
Yes these are new. Got one from gunwharf on Friday. I know that Bicester got some in on Thursday. Good product at this price.
Are you sure this is new? I bought one for this price last year, but it was a factory refurb/return. Still an excellent piece of kit for the price though. You can't beat Bose!
Im pretty sure all Bose Factory Stores have this offer as I saw it in my local York store aswell, may be worth checking.
You can get the Bose sound link 3 from martin Dawes for £219.99
£200 direct from Bose in Bullring
Good price in itself, but IMHO the Soundlink Mini sounds as good for at least £50 less, but it's not the best looker. IMHO the best mid-range VFM Bluetooth speaker out there is the Sony SRS-X5. Similar size/shape/style to Soundlink II, but sounds as good as Soundlink Mini, was same price as Soundlink Mini, but is now available for £135-£140. Doesn't need special charger to take with you, either. Not quite as much bass as the Bose, but still lots of it, and a more balanced sound overall.
no yout not
SOUNDS good to me
Was just about to post this as a fresh deal only to be directed to this previous deal. Can someone please mark this as active/unexpired?THEY'RE BACK IN STOCK!Quick... run, run, run.... buy, buy buy!
Name me a better SQ portable speaker than the Soundlink Mini then? I'm talking about a tiny one too, not a massive speaker. It is far better than "ok" in that form factor and sounds fantastic. I didn't want a cheaper one with worse sound quality, and I didn't want a massive one that's more of a nuisance to carry. Please get back to me and let me know which other ones of the same size sound better? Cheers Also, apple doesn't really deal in sound so it's less objective comparing this to them, but I could see why certain people would draw that comparison. Some will argue OS X is better than Windows, some will disagree.
I've got a Bose SoundLink II, the sound quality is incredible. Very good price for the pair.
Well, first of all, the problem with that analogy is that I doubt you'll find tyres rated at 186 mph that will fit a Citroen 2CV but anything's possible. In any case, one other thing you haven't quite thought of is the fact that an MP3 being played through great-quality audio equipment will still sound better than the am MP3 being played through poor-quality audio equipment. You don't need lossless in order to enjoy great music/audio; you need lossless in order to enjoy music/audio whose quality is not compromised by lossy compression or want to preserve music in as high a quality as possible for future (re)compression. The truth is that most people won't notice the difference in quality between a 320 kbps MP3 and a WAV or FLAC file though audiophiles may try to convince you they can. The real jokers are the people who carry on about keeping music in a lossless format only to turn around and play it on less-than-the-best equipment. The point is, the speakers or other output components are often the biggest hindrance to enjoyable audio quality so investing in the slightly higher end speaker/sound systems often have a much more noticeable benefit than investing in lossless and all the data storage requirements that come along with it. Using the same tyre analogy, many cars today that are electronically-limited to 155 mph or less come standard with 186 mph-rated tyres, not because the owners will ever be able to drive them that fast but to ensure that if they did manage to, the tyres aren't the bottleneck. The same concept applies to music.
The one in my A3 imo is better than the RNS system we have in the VW we have. I do like Bass though :) but tbh i wouldn't of paid for the option of the bose sound system i bought the car secondhand with it in.
back in stock and ordered today!!!
No Idea why this went so cold but they are now out of stock :)
