Good series, but I thought it lost its way in the last couple of seasons.

I bought it pirated it then got my money back. Arrg Arrg

what, why, write

Miss this series, was not aware it had been officially cancelled. Sad news. Heat added.

Great price, less than £5 per series for a show that somehow slipped under the radar.

Mission impossible 1 - 5 4k boxset £40 (The hmv deal was £34.99 but required a full price purchase or purehmv membership.)

I believe that offer was online too with free delivery

It's £35 with any other purchase online, as @FunkiestMonkey says, you could buy a cheap blu ray and still save money compared to amazon. Cold

yes purehmv can be cheaper.. but you have to join purehmv first and its an instore deal only.. not everyone has an Hmv store nearby or any guarantee its in stock when you get there...

Yeah definitely. Also sucks that this doesn't include UV downloads for any of them either, which is usually pretty much standard on 4K blurays. I don't use them myself but they can be sold for a few quid each making the overall cost of the set that bit lower. Considering the higher cost of 4K movies I think the standard blurays and UVs being included should be a standard feature...

Will inevitably come down more anyway with new edition (with Fallout) being released very soon Prime candidate for a cheap Black Friday deal And if I want it now use HMV

Thanks for the info!

Hmv actually have blu ray exclusives on first reformed and leave no trace - spotted them the other day! But yeah it's mad that not everything is released on Bluray still.

Hardly 4k price. But yes, DVD. Still watched. In fact, a couple of upcoming films that I'm interested in (First Reformed and Leave No Trace) are ONLY available on DVD. Outrageous in this day and age. Many TV shows are DVD only as well. But Outlander is available on Blu-ray. £50 for all 3 series - so would probably pay the extra over DVD.

Dvd! Really? People watch 4k, and uk still sells dvd/vcd like 4k price

I listen online, and they still say 'online and on your radio... its absolute radio xx', so I will assume on the air too. I've had to do some wallpapering these last few days, and it's perfect for keeping me sane.

If they play Papa Was a Rolling Stone one more time.... (fierce) Actually I haven't seen Abs70s appear on my car radio for a while. Is it still on air?

Nice one andy, My fave being 4 :)

Yep agreed. But couldn't think what else @Mr_xx meant, seeing as ALL the Rocky films are in this boxset.

Tempted to sell my old Rocky collection and get this one. Thanks. They are very re-watchable.

Its almost a remake of the first film Rocky is now Micky, Adonis fights in a sketchy fight like Rocky does in the church, he chases a chicken, there is a training montage, he runs up steps, women weaken legs, grey tracksuit, Apollos boxing trunks, heartfelt speech in the ring, doesn't win the fight, title fight given to an underdog, there is even a turtle in the film, they talk about his motorbike, Paulie’s porn and bourbon, he falls in the ring the same as Apollo does, and Masons cut man now works for Rocky. I could go on all day its almost the same film just with a few oddly made decisions like the guys pulling wheelies on the bike while Adonis runs to the steps.

They aint rocky movies nothing like rocky movies completely different to these

If it was, there'd be 17 versions of each compilation, with each version having one different track. Oh, and only those with Band 20 would play on a UK CD player 😁

Lol. I remember the original Top of the Pops albums in the 70's. Usually has some lady in a bikini on the cover and all the hits. But...Never sang by the original artist. Don't think it said who did the singing.

Well we have lost on tradition from the 20th Century. The full stop and paragraphs are dead.

I never linked that blog never seen it before, sounds like you are the one with the chip on your shoulder I cannot be bothered to respond as you seem hell bent on having your say so I will let you rant alone,i have better things to do like SLEEP so happy dreams r

Song of the South was 1947 and portrayed a post civil war in the 1800's and focused heavily on the slavery of that time so what does the 60,70,80,90's have to do with anything.. And again yes things are better today than in the 60's, 70's & 80's.. Id call the 90's and 00's still classed as the same era, you were the one who jumped on your EDL ranty bandwagon about how we are losing our history by not allowing potentially offensive and racist material to be included in a Disney Classics collection, maybe you should of evaluated your own comments before you as you call it 'Mouthed Off' .... Do not try to turn this around like I had any issues, I just confirmed I think Disney was right not to include it in the collection, I dont see you banging on about Mary Poppins not being in there, you clearly picked the controversial one and started your troll walk, are you REALLY that offended that its not in there or more offended by the fact others are offended, or are you offended that people might be offended? Also you posted a link to a strange blog for some weird reason.

O.K. buddy!! rein it in,before you start mouthing off take the trouble to read my last response, when I referred to the 60s,70s,80s I was referring t the 20th Century,as for things getting better I beg to differ, racism is still alive and flourishing, exploitation is still rampant, sexism is still point was in the era I mentioned it was not even discussed or shown like it is today, that does not make it right but you cannot just ignore or rub out history accept the history and move on to try and better the planet not spend so much time trying to erase the past, without History we have no future just chill out and be creative without using a microscope to find every past or present deed that sometimes seems we have lost any common sense, just concentrate and the really bad things we can all find faults in everything and everyone but let us have a sense of proportion about life

Awful TV show, would not recommend it at all. So many better ones out there, watched them all? Do something else with your life. First 3 or 4 seasons are alright, just... alright. Dispose of the other seasons DVDs, you don't need them.

Shame it doesn't include a discount on the bluray edition. Like £30 when a purchase is made.

Oh dear!!!!

Anyone care to provide an opinion on the iTunes versions? Are the discs better?

Without seeing the setup and being 100%, that may have been an issue with HDCP between the 4k media and your cable/device.

just a small note, i have 4k tv and 1080 projector, and a 4k player, so i borrowed the 4k version of the movie, it was nice on my 55" 4k tv, but failed to project somehow on my hd projector. might be my cable was too long, so i decided to buy blueray version of the movie. works fine both on tv and projector, details are not miles different on any screen below 55" screen to my opinion. voted hot !!!

As bad as sitting on a Tyre, Anu$ sore?

Watch all three movies back-to-back and you will end up with a saurus.

. Rowan Atkinson landed his insurance company with a £910,000 repair bill after crashing his beloved McLaren F1 supercar, it has emerged. The McLaren F1 super car belonging to Rowan Atkinson after the crash on the A605 near Peterborough Photo: EPA/Rex The actor and comedian span off the road and crashed the high-powered vehicle into a tree in August 2011, suffering a fractured shoulder blade in the process. But its value has significantly increased over the last 15 years - with one sold last year for £3.5 million. After getting back behind the wheel 16 months after the crash, Atkinson said it was “like putting on a familiar sweater”. He told this month's Classic and Sports Car magazine that he was not a fan of hiding cars away like toys and insisted they should be used. "I'm not a collector. I don't like the toy cupboard syndrome that causes so many good cars to evaporate," he said. "It depresses me that they are hidden away like investment art, or gold ingots in a Swiss vault. "The McLaren is just so usable, it is a crime not to use it. No gritted teeth, you just get in and drive." Atkinson crashed the car on the A605 near Haddon, Cambridgeshire, not far from his Northamptonshire home. No other vehicles were involved. He first crashed it in 1999 when he collided with a Rover Metro driven by a 62-year-old. McLaren manufactured just 64 F1s when production began in 1992. Its 6.1-litre BMW engine can take the car from 0-60mph in 3.2 seconds. Atkinson is well known for his love of fast cars and recorded the fastest lap time in Top Gear’s Star in a Reasonably Priced Car when he appeared on the show in August 2011. He told presenter Jeremy Clarkson he was keen on racing and was currently driving a 1964 Ford Falcon. But his racing expertise did little to quell his nerves before taking on the challenge, he admitted. In a clip of the show Atkinson said people would “assume that in the reasonably priced car I will be very good when there's absolutely no guarantee of that whatsoever”. But the Blackadder actor notched up the fastest ever time on the show, completing the circuit in 1 minute 42.2 seconds. Technicians spent four weeks analysing the damage in a bid to determine how much it would cost to repair. Atkinson’s insurance provider was then left to decide whether to repair the car or to replace it, eventually realising that it would be cheaper to repair. The car then spent more than a year in the hands of McLaren's expert technicians in Woking, Surrey. The avid car enthusiast bought the 240mph vehicle for £640,000 in 1997 with the proceeds from his first Mr Bean film.

Quite enjoyed the latest one :D
