I don't use Nord but also learn about "kill switch". Glad it's sorted for you.
I created a new access point. Works fine with Nord.
Glad to hear it, save you sending back the phone. Incidently how did you sort it out?
Think I've sorted it. Thanks for your help.
Temporarily disconnect NORD. Go to "settings" on your phone, in the search box at top, type VPN. When on VPN settings page, toggle the switch to "off". That's it. Go back to your home screen, go to your browser and try to load any website. Should work, if not, will have to try something else. EDIT : You can also disable VPN from the notification panel. Also make sure that mobile data is enabled! Sometimes it can be switched off by mistake.

Code was BAG20 Foe Me ;)
Only 4000 miliamp battery..
£3.5k spend at eBay needed first to get V.I.P. discount right?
Code not working for me.

Bought my daughter one of these today (not from here as she wanted a pearl white one) Very decent phone especially around this price point.
Where can I get POCO F3 for 209? I can see its 249 everywhere
This or the redmi10 on special offer today. The camera is my main criteria and something that will pick mobile data up in a reasonable amount of time. Currently have redmi8, .are either of these an improvement on what I have please?
There are a fair few 'brand new' that here meaning open box never used Oppo Find x2 lite at fonecentral/eBay albeit at slightly higher prices for those who prefer new. Worth a look 👀? HAVE10 code applies. EDIT : Just seen the POCO F3 deal at Xiaomi for £209 so forget fonehouse!
Lots of used P30 pro models in really decent nick on Facebook marketplace for £150 - £180.

s 8GB and 128GB enough? In case of performance, 8GB RAM and 128GB SSD have better performance for sure. You will have more read and write speed and more memory to have more applications open for multitasking: great boot time and overall better performance. RAM is more important than an SSD because your computer won't work without Ram. Thanks for the question here plz check https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/oppo-find-x2-lite-5g-pearl-white-ps179-with-code-at-laptops-direct-3900408. Hope your solution is here Thanks
No catch mate! It has single sim and there is no memory expansion slot as I mentioned in the description. These days people look for these attributes but this handset will serve fine for someone who could do with just one sim and whose memory requirements are not too great. Imo 128gb is enough for average user.
What's the catch 8 GB of ram and 128gb hard drive for 179 quid
Muli Bwanji?
Never thought about such companies posting their own deals! It beggars belief and shocking really if true.

Yes i agree, Laptop outlet have open box units for £189 with a 12-month warranty.
It's been OOS at Amazon for months and I wouldn't think that they will get any more as it's a discontinued model. I managed to get one from Argos yesterday but they only have stock in Elgin now. Looks like a good phone and will get latest Color OS 12 with Android 12 next year.
Loads of deals on, not sure if this a deal, showing OOS but you can still order, hopefully, a good price for someone. Tempted myself. Same price at Argos. Refurbished at OPPO Find X2 Lite 5G 6.4" 120Hz Unlocked Smartphone 8GB RAM 128GB Storage -Black | LaptopOutlet, UK for £189
Out of stock
Had this phone for 18 months, I've had no problems with battery life, still get 7-8 hours from it. Good all round phone in my experience. Screen on time that is.

How does this compare to a Google pixel 6 for 300 pounds lightly used condition vs This find x2 LITE brand-new for 200 Pounds? What would you guys say is a better deal? Is there a big difference between the phones in terms of specification? Is the Google pixel six worth the extra 140?
The answer you were looking for was " yes " however you recently missed a deal where the 4a was £153 delivered. If you want a better camera phone, you want an Honor 50, Realme Master Explorer edition, Oppo find X2 pro, OnePlus Nord 2 but there's lots of others, just don't buy into the Poco, redmi marketing spin. They're cheap for a reason.
Are the cameras better than the Huawei p30?
Google pixel 4 /4a ! Both compact and great cameras . (y)
Yes it is, but I love it :D

ffs oos
Expire.
Oos
Yes it still does. Its a great phone, well made with a good camera & battery that last me 2 days. At this price, what's not to like.

Was going to go for this on the klarna / paypal option but it wont accept the discount and wants 199 if doing that way
I agree , well impressed, and as I was aware it was single sim it wasn't part of my buying decision. Would have been nice to have a SD card slot but again not a deal breaker for me and I bought it for £199.
Sadly they are all single sim, but this is a bargain quality phone.
I received my Oppo X2 Find Lite today purchased from Curry's , mines is not dual sim.
Thanks man

Hopefully, unless the support person got it wrong and confused with the find x3 which has 3 years of updates.
Awesome, I assume that'll be the case for the entire Find X2 lineup. Currently got the X2 neo and love it!
Just got this from oppo UK support: Dear Charlie, Thank you for contacting Oppo. The security updates are going to be released for 3 years since the date the model was released, which means that the Find X2 Lite should receive security updates until May 2023.
Cheers

Single or dual sim?
The old Honor 6x is starting to fail now, camera don't focus and fingerprint sensor gone. How much improvement will I notice with this? No 5G here in deepest darkest Cornwall!
What's the camera like on these...?

Usually support is from from date of launch - x2 neo/lite was may 2020(gsmarena). So two years from launch would be the middle of next year?? I am not so bothered by getting the newest android, but I am bothered about security updates including fixing zero day exploits. None of use would put up with Windows even on the cheapest device, only have a year of security patches. If you use the phone for basic stuff maybe its ok,but anything like a banking app would be risky after this. Only 12 months of security updates is a bit meagre - Oppo have stopped allowing the unlocking of the boatloader so you can't install LineageOS after this. Oppo and Oneplus are the same company - the Oneplus versions have a minimum of 3 years now, even the cheap Nord N100 is having 3 years of security updates: https://www.pocket-lint.com/phones/news/oneplus/157552-oneplus-software-updates-3-4-years There is zero reason why they are limiting the x2 series to such a short support lifespan. The X3 Lite,Nord, etc use the same chips, same ufs2.1 storage, etc as the x2 lite.
Well two more years from now. X2 os updates end 2022, X3 os updates should end 2024. Security updates year longer I think.
It is definitely slated for an Android 12 update, but probably early next year. They also usually send out security/bug fix updates every 2-3 months on my Oppo Reno 2. Wouldn't be too sure you'll get much in the way of updates after that. For the price you're paying for this phone and specs, I think even one Android update from is good. You have to be realistic and remember your buying this phone mid-way through its design cycle. It will work fine for years to come even if Android 12 is last update. My mum is still on Android 7, and refuses to get rid of her phone.
Oppo have said only the X3 range will get 3 years of updates - this is only 2 years? So one more year of updates because its a 2020 range??
@MrSwitch how is this compared to Huawei p30 pro?

@MrSwitch do you recommend the X2 Lite over the Reno 10x? I'm tempted by the Reno 5G deal posted recently, but put off by it not getting Android 11 / Color OS 11. Very strange since the 10x is getting it / already has it. Deals on the 10x don't seem to come around very often. And I hear good things about the X2 Lite...
With the SD670 on board? Them updates will not stop this thing lagging.
A total downgrade on the Mate 20 Pro, the only thing the Lite can offer is 90hz and most don't see or feel the difference.
Indeed the X3 Pro is very hard to resist with it's monster specs and budget phone price, a great buy at the price. Personally I just don't like the design and thats the only why I haven't grabbed one myself.
Moved to the Oppo X2 Neo from LG phones. Much cleaner OS and so far, faster updates. Don't notice any bloatwear. Currently on Color OS 11/Android 11.

Paid £179 from Vodafone website came unlocked has white earbuds included screen protector already applied clear rubber case sadly only 1 nano sim slot for those wanting dual or memory expansion can always give the vodafone sim to someone else or use as backup from 20% charges full within 30-45mins from the included wall charger max 6A/30W currently on 18% and has been used for 3d 16h with about 5hours remaining in power saving mode, super power saving mode says 7h30m remaining. light gaming, messaging, browsing, calls/texts. has dual wifi, so if main connection is running a little slow it will try connect to another to boost speed updating to latest Android 11/ colouros 11.1, was easy and fast (June security update latest) massive update from my old umi super which finally died :( even connected my PS4 controller to it using bluetooth if anyone fancies that sorry if long or a little jumbled, i tried getting best info to help you decide if to get it or not, anything else just ask and i will try help.
I was thinking the same too, I'm trying to find a reason to buy it when I already have a 855,865,870, 888. But the price is totally crazy for 8/256, you might have just convinced me to grab on with the refer a friend voucher.
I agree. X3 don't look that good. Most of the time I have a case on. So I ordered X3 Pro 256gb and 8gb ram £170.
A tough one it really is, I was having the same thought earlier. I will admit i just don't like the look of the X3, that is why I keep passing on it.
Cracking deal

Still £179 at Vodafone Inc £10 one off sim.
Back up to £199 now:-(
I swapped my aging p30 pro for this and overall I'm really pleased. Screen is great and very bright . Battery is better than the pro . Picked up a really nice slimline case . It's really quick in day to day use. Only thing I can't find is themes
Some of those special offer Xiaomi handsets recently at about this price are great competition.
Wow brilliant

Same price on Amazon
Unlocked
Is it unlocked to any network ? I 'm tempted by this offer but couldn't see this mentioned in the description
The reviews for it sound very good. Although I've been put off by reading that update support for the phone is likely to be just one more year.
What's the battery performance like? Seems a little undersized for this phone and screen?

It is £179 incl £10 topup unlocked from Voda PAYG

What did you eventually do? They offer a 14 day return policy hastle free.
I was wondering what you do to avoid the 30 day contract rolling over? I assume you just don't put it in the phone and it won't activate?
Ordered. Just couldn't resist. I prefer small phones but they are pretty non existent now. I've been looking around for a 2nd hand compact but they are all on old Android versions and beaten up. I was using a 2nd hand Pixel 2 and it just upped and died on me one week ago so I am a bit wary about buying 2nd hand now. One minute it was working fine and then I pick it up and the device is a brick. I've never had that happen to me with a phone before! I had my eye on a Pixel 4a but this experience with the Pixel has put me off. Also the Pixel 4a is not 5G. I had a 2nd hand Google 6P and I sold it on a classifieds and it bootlooped on the buyer a month later! Reliability seems to be an issue with Google phones. I had a Reno Z a few months ago that I really liked but it had no ultrawide and the chipset was so so. This X2 Find Lite seems to fix those issues so I am really looking forward to receiving it tomorrow. It's not a small phone but if you can't beat them join them!
Sorry if I am silly but what happens when you select the £10 top up? Is this a rolling monthly contract and do you need to cancel it?

Hello fellow HUKD posters. How does this compare to Huawei Mate 10 Pro other than the 5G? Thank you!
Usually just a replacement for a faulty item, so you only have to return/exchange the phone. Therefor you keep all the accessories and chargers.
surely the customer that returned it also had to return the charger etc with it.Where do all these chargers go? Charger heaven ?
765 not 865 as the other commenter incorrectly stated
Certainly isn't.
That's not what's in it. Try again
When did a flagship 865 processor become slow exactly?
