Thinking about investing while theres a half price offer on.
Is anyone willing to share their experience, good or bad?
All opinions welcome

It costs circa £17 per month for instant hot and cold water. Seems expensive imo. To boil water for a single cup of tea/coffee costs approx 1p with a kettle so you could have 4.5 cups each day for a full year for what it costs to run Virgin pure water for 1 month.

I’ve just come across it… I always forget to fill the water filter and then it’s also inevitably on the side all warm etc…

Was debating one for convenience more than anything :/ after the first year, do you NEED to replace lamp/filter when they say? I feel like that’s potentially part of the gimmick to get repeat business on consumables… filter maybe but surely the UV lamp is good till it dies?

From fish tank keeping, uv bulbs do have a limited life span. But they don't stop working, their effectiveness decreases
As they both treat water with a uv bulb, I assume they're very similar.

Did you go for it? Our tap water tastes horrible even when filtered with a brita so was hoping this did a better job.

No, still thinking about it. Especially with pennies as tight as they are
