iPad for around £500

If you had around £500 to buy an iPad which model would you buy? My 2017 iPad Pro has died 🙈 Thanks in advance for any advice you can give

I'd probably get an iPad Air 4th Gen or 5th Gen (seems like the 5th Gen is more powerful than the 4th Gen).

Thank you, it makes an interesting read. I had been looking at iPad Pro 11inch 2nd gen, but looks like Air 5th gen might be the way to go and get the benefits of M1 chip. Just need to try find one in budget! Thank you for your help

Doing a similar thing for family member
Ipad 9 gen £319 most retailers
Ipad air 4 gen £439 apple refurb or around £370 cex
Ipad air 5 gen £669 most retailers.
The 10 gen and mini are overpriced IMO but depends on what your requirements are.

Thank you, maybe I’ll look a bit more into iPad Air 4th gen, £669 for the 5th gen is a bit more than I want to pay really.

Depends on what you want, but there some decent prices on the 2022 10th gen on eBay. I’ve just picked up a 10th gen 64gb Wi-Fi/5g with a Logitech folio and 11.5 months of apple warranty up for £400.

Other sellers had them “refurbished, excellent” for around the same price

Thanks, are there any sellers you’d recommend on EBay? I’ve seen some good prices but was a bit wary.
