EE unlimited data, calls and messages SIM only deals - one requires you to be an EE broadband customer

Posted 12th Nov 2023 (Posted 7 h, 33 m ago)
Following recent discussions with EE retentions, we were offered the following deals - hoping these may be of some help for making a saving or getting more for your money:

12 month SIM only deal
* Unlimited data, calls and messages
* Downloads capped at 100Mbps
* No smart benefits
£18 per month

30 day rolling deal for EE broadband customers
* Unlimited data, calls and messages
* No download speed cap
* One smart benefit - Apple Music, Netflix, data roaming etc, changeable every 30 days
* Data sharing
£19 per month

Additional data SIMs

We were also offered additional unlimited data SIMs on 30 day rolling contracts as an EE broadband customer - at £10 (downloads capped at 25Mbps) or £13 (capped at 100Mbps) and able to data share on this tariff)

These appeared on the EE app but still ended up having to call. Discounts are continuous but subject to being an EE broadband customer.

    EE transferred my old T-Mobile plan in June (bought as 12 months free contract back in 2013 but remained free all the time). They offered £1/month SIM deal for 24 months with:
    * Unlimited data, calls and messages
    * Downloads capped at 100Mbps
    * No smart benefits
    * Free EU roaming
    * Free bill itemisation

    Only shows how EE (BT in disguise) ripp off people in broad daylight.

    That has annoyed me a bit! I had two SIMs on the same deal and transferred out both numbers last year due to receiving the 3G shutdown notice.

    They didn’t offer any deals like they did to Plusnet customers, and as you say we’re being ripped off and it’s going to get worse with less competition out there.
