Does that mean its held as they want a fee? Seems strange its at other end of the UK if thats the case.

check online if you have the waybill number it should show you the fee u need to pay

I had exactly the same last week on a dash cam I bought from Hong Kong. Eventually I received an e-mail and a text stating Customs were holding awaiting import duty payment, might have been VAT payment. There was a link to pay, item was released for delivery a couple of hours after payment. Hope that helps

Thanks, I did check the number and it showed £4 to pay but they arrived today and just handed it to me without asking. it was my Doogee phone.
