Egypt sim and roaming.

From a quick search roaming tariffs are expensive in Egypt and nobody seems to have international sims available before departure. Searched the threads here, is this 4 yr advice still the current position please? And if anyone has been lately what price should I be looking to buy a local vodafone sim for? Thanks.

    You can always use an esim via Airalo.
    You can activate these before flying.

    They're not the cheapest, but not the most expensive either, but they win for convenience

    This would be preferable due to not having to mess around once there, thank you. Does this work alongside an existing SIM or would I have to remove the existing UK SIM/use a different phone and hotspot.
