Which one of these 3 TVs would you recommend?

Posted 19th Jul 2023
I'm looking for a TV just to use with Amazon firestick for BBC iPlayer and netflix. I have got the 4k netflix but my connection is only 40mb so doubt ill get to watch anything in 4k.

Had a look in Currys today and there were 3 TVs that stood out.

Samsung cu7100 65" for £649
Samsung cu8500 for £749
Hisense 65u7hqtuk for £769

I'll probably trade in a old broken TV to get the extra £50 off as well.

Any reason why you chose this one over the other Samsung ?

I wouldn’t buy anything from Curry’s personally and would look elsewhere for 5 year warranty

    40mb is ok for 4k.

If 40mb isn't suitable for 4K streaming, then there's something seriously wrong with UK's broadband provision (edited)

None of them. Get a 75 inch for the same money. Your eyes will thank you.

I think 4k requirement on Netflix is 15mb. If you can ethernet between router and tv it'll be better. (edited)
