1. You are wrong a lot do. Instead of getting a good (hotuk)deal on 23's upgrade your bike so that you can buy 25's !
2. The whole point of this post - a hot uk deal - well done OP
3. I didn't as - I already pointed out to you. Equally, in your misunderstanding, it could turn out to be a cost saving - if durability is equivalent in the chosen hypothetical tyre.

Completely agreed about the turbo.

I understand what you are saying about training, but to be honest there is so little in it in terms of resistance. The comfort is night and day however.

On the money saving front, it's fine to buy something because it's cheap, but not if it's not the right product.

Yup, for city riding they're all right. As long as you're sensible with your cornering then you ought to be fine.

But when it comes to descending down -15% hills around corners and braking for hairpins in the wet you want softer rubber which is grippier.

Nah, 30mls of sealant in each tyre and unless you really really try you'll remain puncture free. The added benefit is you can run much lower pressures too.

Are they all the same, or are some better than others?

These are brilliant. Tyre/tube inflates instantly which is fantastic if you're against the clock, out in rubbish weather, or riding in a group. Inflates to far more pressure (circa 120psi) than my puny arms can manage with a mini pump too.

Yes they get cold, and yes you need to deflate and reinflate when you get home. Small price to pay for me.
