Free chic coins and headphone splitter only here. Better to have something for free. Wuntu costa coffee you have to pay a quid, still it's more than what other networks offer.

Gone back up to £41 unless I'm missing something?

wanderer

Have one of these, fab jigsaw hardly any vibration and cuts smoothly.

Heat - That's the forth DIY item I've ordered tonight. Metabo grinder and drill from MSC and this bit set from Amazon. May have to dirty them up a bit so the wife doesn't notice they're new. XD BTW cheapest price this year

Downcutting jigsaw blades are the work of the devil.

umar88

I've got some similar Bosch ones and they were terrible. Never had that bad experience with Bosch product. They will shake the life out of whatever you trying to cut. I found Parkside(Lidl) ones work really well and last longer. Not sure if they sell them anymore though.

Ralph888

I got a 5 blades pack of these exact ones on Amazon for £5. You have to spend £20 as its an add on order unless you already have prime. Link https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0009W866Y/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

But you'll need to apply plenty of downward pressure to the saw or it'll jump out!

Used it today to cut 10mm board and was great. I kept the speed at level 6 and let the saw do the work and was impressed with the outcome. First time using it and was great. Next project is to make a shoe rack so I look forward to that. Any questions ask!

lacoolj

Avoid, not worth the price. I have this and the blade never goes in straight or if it does, it tilts after a while and you have to cut with the jigsaw held at an angle to get a straight line. Useless!!

umar88

One I got is long narrow design though. So I don't actually have experience of this particular design. Can't see why there would be a problem though as this is more common design.

DevilzGtr

Thanks for the response. I'm going to keep the lidl one and cancel the bosch order then :)

umar88

DevilzGtr: I've just bought the lidl one and haven't used it yet. That one is rated 800w: hotukdeals.com/deals/parkside-800w-jigsaw-2499-lidl-sunday-14th-also-5-blade-sets-399-3070907 Any jigsaw experts know which one is better? I've got Lidl one. It's 800 watts to start with so it's lot more powerful. It's got laser guide, pendulum action and light which Bosch doesn't. Lidl one was my choice and more then happy with it. I've had mixed experience with Bosch green stuff. It's not cheap junk but it's not the Bosch used to be.

FunkiestMonkey

Maybe. My experience is of their reciprocating saw which has sliced through wood including green (alive and therefore tough) branches and also of their hedge trimmer and wood chipper

Look if you are not using a jigsaw for a living then I'm pretty sure this would suffice. Myself I prefer Bosch.

No what makes me right is i know what i'm talking about you on the other hand don't have a clue.Just one of those people who pay through the nose for named power tools and don't like it when cheaper ones are just as good. But hey go ahead pay through the nose its up to you.

Tom_Reys

Sorry grandpa just by calling others names does not makes you right :) Try a decent modern tool first before commenting. These Lidl tools are just a waste of earths resources.

jigsaw for £15 whats not to like

o3mar

Were the 6 different posts not for 6 different products? Can’t see how that would cause anyone any problems. I can see however, how it would make it easier for some people - especially if they’ve got a keyword set for a particular product. It would appear that too many people here don’t vote based on how good a deal actually is. Shame really, as it has made the hot/cold status of a deal completely irrelevant.
