Mine came yesterday, very easy to clean and you get a little brush with it as well - had some jasmine in it last night just rinsed out and wiped over with a baby wipe now got hot apple pie going in it and smells good!

MIne hasn't arrived yet but in the picture it looks easy enough

How easy is it to clean? Had a similar one and was a nightmare to clean kept getting mold in spots it was fantastic for the baby but i chucked it due to it being impossible to keep clean

No it’s off the customer pictures, the one I ordered is coming on Monday - I paid for it and some oils

Is that the free one they sent you?

I set it a few PSI more as it drops once stopped on my 18" wheels, I have a decent analog pressure gauge I use after to get it spot on. My old RAC640 was more accurate but I wanted something smaller to leave in the car

I have the older digital model, apart from losing the football adaptor everything still works great, don't think this is worth double the price I paid then. Unless you are in a hurry simply wait for it to drop again.

I remember there being a lot of reports of the digi display packing up on these. So i bought the cheaper analogue RAC610 one. Had it about 8 years now and still works fine. Was well worth £8. When these are going they vibrate like hell, which is what i think kills a digi display. My advice, buy the cheaper analogue one.

I have one of these. Paid less last year. Happy with it but every now and then it doesn't seem to stop when it reaches the desired pressure. Anyone else having this issue?

I bought the older Ring RAC630 model back in 2012 for around £14 and found it very reliable. Had a slow puncture for last 3 years so gets used once every couple of weeks or so. Would've replaced the tyres but they are 255/40/R18 run flats and I cant justify the price when they still have quite a bit of tread left. It has been little to no hassle topping them up, but can't vouch that this newer RAC635 model is as reliable.

I think TPVision (,new owners of Philips TV division) should buy out Philips Hue division and stop the rip off pricing (their TV range is now supeb value) (cheeky)

Just a word of warning, I had a hue light in an out door porch for a few months. I think the recent heat killed the bulb. Not sure if these ones they are selling for outdoor use are more tolerant of temperatures?

Just got simple Hue ones, they are cheap and really good.

Thank you for this! :) Think I prefer these square designs too, my other option was getting a clear globe style and some Yeelights in there

Look for example for "philips ecomoods e27" on amazon UK.

I actually think this is a good deal. Is anyone able to point me in the direction of a cheaper one please?

Ladies hot = this exact item is cheaper than you can currently get elsewhere. Cold = you can get this exact item cheaper elsewhere. Cold does not equal “you can get something that looks a bit like this but isn’t this cheaper”.

Bought mine for a fiver works locally via wifi not remotely so doesnt need a server and seems to do everything the Phillips can and mine is 5 metres! 50 Sovvs for an led strip and small wireless controller circuit roflmao some people are Brand monkeys!

Cheaper alternatives are useless If they do not play well 100% with your existing devices. Even the ones that are discoverable by the hue app, are not compatible with many features within the hue ecosystem and therefore about as much use as a chocolate fireguard to me. Youre talking about backend servers - you realise hue needs these also to route out of home control to your hue hub? You realise Phillips do put r&d into these devices? You can research into the way that colour termperature of LED lights is tracked in a bi-axis curve instead of a flat line, and the challenges that brings. There’s also testing with all the various accessories and infrastructure they’ve release or about to release on a constantly changing roadmap with new products coming out all the time. These are fairly niche products that don’t just create themselves, cost money to design test and build.

It may not be cheaper somewhere else, but their are cheaper alternatives. The design and technology involved in building an Echo Dot (one of your examples), along with the software and back end servers running it, and continous updates is a lot different to a simple LED lightstrip. I can appreciate the RND that goes in to a more technical product, or a product that needs further development or management throughout its lifespan. However some products markup prices are not justifiable and do not offer a good deal for the consumer, customers who accept this are part of the problem when it comes to inflated prices on products. We all have our opinions, mine is a load of rubbish according to you, but to me and others, despite this being a lower price than normal, it is not a good deal.

I appreciate the concern, although I don't actually intend to buy one at all. I hope my initial comment wasn't taken seriously, was just a little fun. I do apologise if taken otherwise, especially considering that there is a case for a fake.

5 x illooms marble LED light up (15 hour) party balloons @ Sainsbury's - £1.05
Found 9th JulFound 9th Jul
Headingley Otley Road branch
Get dealGet deal

Remember the most expensive part of balloons is the helium. Party shops will charge at least £1 per balloon to inflate these .Many won't inflate balloons purchased elsewhere due to the large number of illegal Chinese balloons sold on the internet ( they are not CE tested ) Be aware they only float for about 5-6 hours if filled with helium . They made the ridiculous mistake of using 9" size balloons instead of the usual 11" size that professional balloon decorators use ( 11" size floats for 14-16 hours ). They are not very bright , so need near-darkness to see them.

I’ve never heard of these - are they good for an outdoor summer evening party? Is this a good brand?

15h my bum. We still see a light in some of the LEd modules 9 months later.

They do mostly make decent safe stuff nowadays. This PSU is from Hong Kong. Big Clive stripped down the transformer to make sure it was double insulated and also tested for isolation between input and output with 1000 volts! Past with flying colours. Cracks me up when people prejudge just because it's Chinese but they're quite happy to put deals on for Chinese tablets probably with Chinese Lithium batteries built in, and a Chinese power supply! I'm not saying this is definitely safe but has anybody contacted the manufacturer or supplier to see if it has had EU safety checks before pre-judging? When I think of quality led lighting I think Philips. extremetech.com/electronics/164663-philips-voluntarily-recalls-99000-led-bulbs-due-to-shock-hazard Big Clive is often 'baffled' when he's trying to reverse engineer all sorts of electronics designs including British ones. That doesn't mean he's inferring bad design though. In fact nothing it that video inferred bad or unsafe design. Led lamps are inherently less prone to fire risk than the conventional incandescent and halogen ones we've lit up our houses with for years. Quite simply this is because they don't get as hot. Think of incandescent fairy lights draped in combustible decorations. They still sell them, I might add, with European Safety conformity.

What’s with the Chinese? Watched that guys video analysing all the components and could tell he was impressed at times other times baffled but why do they not make that leap to putting decent lasting safe parts in and lose their bad reputation? Remember years ago was s**tty we used to categorise it as “ made in Hong Kong

Cheap Chinese Light Bulb, made with no safety regulations. What could possibly go wrong? HEAT from me.... Oh hang on... Heat from the bulb when it catches fire, burns your house down and invalidates your insurance claim.

Not sure why this has gone cold. These might be niche but nevertheless quite sophisticated lamps. Safety wise you could run from a 5 volt supply if worried as per Big Clive's video, he certainly gives them the thumbs up! Heat from me anyway.

That’s if it lasts long enough to go on fire!
