Thanks for sharing @elonmusk (highfive)

None available for me for all stores in my locality.

The link works for me but these appeared as clearance about 12 months ago, so I suspect most have gone.

Hukd add their affiliate stuff, uBlock Origin blocks them all cos can be malicious/track you so often times you just have to go to the main site and search. (y) www . screwfix.com / p /diall-ses-candle-led-light-bulb-400lm-5w/727fy

I don't know why the link is broken. I put the correct URL in the deal link field while creating the deal and it shows the hotukdeals thread link after posting it.

Still there.

Looks like the cashback has been pulled.

That's is just silly.

Because people are annoyed at the Bluetooth inclusion as it's pointless and reacting by voting cold

Why is the deal posted in your message not hot?!

Well under a tenner on these now and what I like about these, is that they're better suited to TVs than some of the others out there. This is because of the connectors for the corners, as op…

It will work but won’t cover the whole TV Probably won’t even cover half the TV

Would these work with a 75" Telly? thanks

For the cheapskates out there, I ordered a £3 set from eBay and the cable management is horrendous. The adhesive is poor and after only 2 days the strips are falling off. Don’t do what I did - go for this! I've got this and the glue is crap on this also....the led's have fallen of the back of tv many times.... I think its the same no matter where you buy these from :/

You can get ones from Govee that do though, these typically have voice integration too. For anyone nerdy enough, you can also get the API from Govee so that when you power on your 'smart' TV you can trigger it to turn on at the same time via Home Assistant. I have on mine, but I've got one that you have multiple colours on in segments.

Govee seems an ok brand (better than all the nobrand Chinese resellers on eBay) If you want Ambilight I was considering its £50 Ambilight alternative that uses a camera. But there are some HDMI based options for around £100 that seem closer to Ambilight (official Philips solution would be like £300-400). There's also cheap PC (and Android TV) only options, so watch out for those.

I don't understand it either but this solved the disconnecting issue for me. It works initially and after a few days disconnects with 5ghz active. I think your suggestion could well be correct

I don't know why people claim this. These devices don't have a Wi-Fi chip capable of seeing the 5GHz Wi-Fi network, regardless of its name, so whether your router's 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks have the same or different names makes absolutely no difference. Or am I missing something that the BT routers are doing, like disconnecting them to try and force them to use 5GHz?

On the latest bt router these lose connection as it doesn't have a separate name. Solution is to turn off the 5ghz band. Or put the old router back in place

I have these. A couple of things. Firstly they are not all that bright and second you have to remember to keep the light switch on (and turn off with the app or google) else it takes a while to reconnect once you power on

Sorry I don't as I only tried the USB LED strip because I had one lying around. You should be able to find something on Amazon or if you have a local Poundland have a look in there.

Is this the plus model? It says for use on a 55” to 65” tv? Thanks in advance

Hue is one.

Is there a reputable affordable brand?

Any stick on LED strip powered by USB will do and it can 'usually' be powered by your TVs spare USB port. You can also buy stick on LED strips that use a power supply and all you are doing is sticking them on the back just below the bezel line. Oh and I bought a cheap USB strip from Poundland and it looked great but it made me realise I wanted something better. Still a good effect though (bright white) and it had the added benefit of brightening up a dark corner 'and' you get better picture contrast (it fools the eyes)

If you want more than one just make separate orders, £3 off each order! Worked for me. :)

I did some research on this recently and have just taken delivery of some "endurance" fairy lights from 'powerbee'. Solar Fairy Lights | Solar String lights | PowerBee Ltd Time will tell if they were an expensive mistake but they do seem to be quite sturdy and generally of better quality than the type of lights listed in this thread.

I got this exact set last spring. Got 3 x sets in total and put them round the fences. 1 year later - 2 of the 3 sets have failed. Checked every inch of them and can't find a break anywhere! Luck of the draw maybe but I wouldn't expect these to last long term.

It is still there. Only on the warm White version.

maybe expire now as cant see a voucher :(
