One would have thought that these hard up families have suffered enough without the extra burden of having BT fibre as well.

Just grabbing some popcorn ready for the hot takes of “scroungers should get a job and buy their broadband at full price” because they don’t realise you can be claiming Universal Credit and be working.

Yup, as well as Carers - unless on legacy benefits like Income Support, they get UC as well as a top up

I think you can if you are out of contract. Might be worth a call and just explain your circumstances though if you’re still in contract.

Wishing your wife (and yourself) all the best.

I disagree I've got bt fibre. Wouldn't swap it for anyone else. And when you want to cancel or renew. You get to talk to someone from this country.

Get haggling with Sky mate if you're that close to the end of your contract!

It's available to new and existing customers, the requirement is to be on any of the benefits listed, existing BT Basic customers can also move to this package.

It includes line rental and 700 minutes of calls to UK landlines and UK mobiles, the latest hub (Smart Hub 2) would be included.

I’ve just cancelled sky. I was only on basic 14 Meg and they wanted £25.
So I’ve just gone with Vodafone super fast deal. Up to 59mg for £22 a month. Two years contract though. But anything better than sky.

Pretty good price considering BT is normally expensive.

    Thanks

Fowarded that to my friend & now they can get a freeview recorder & bt sports & entertainment & HD & 36mb broadband & BT App (4 devices) for the grand total of £55

    Couple that with Amazon Prime.

Pretty sure they will let me abuse one device on the BT App too. Job done.
