Prescription Glasses Lenses

Posted 26th Oct 2022
Hi. I have scratched the lenses in my prescription glasses and want to replace them without having to replace the frame. Is there a place that does that? I know that Specsavers for example refuse to do that unless it is their frame. Also, I welcome suggestions if I can do it online.

Reglaze Service - Designer Glasses Boutique

Plenty of reglazers on the internet but I have used the above two a few times. Designer Glasses Boutique is also good for new frames. I usually find a frame I want on the highstreet and take a note of the model number on the arm and they usually have them in stock.

I’ve used them too and always been happy.
    They regularly send discounts.

Unless you have designer frames, I would just get new glasses....
Also, are you sure it's the lens that's scratched, and not just the coating ? Because you can remove that quite easily.
If not, then online companies are quite reliable - just had some bifocal rimless... Specsavers c£400, online £30 !
