Samsung s23 deal via o2 retentions

Posted 17th Aug 2023
It definitely pays to speak to o2 retentions!!

I managed to get a uswitch deal price matched directly with o2. For them to price match it they had to reduce the cost of the phone meaning I have an s23 ultra for £175 over 24 months!!

It took a bit of persuading initially but then they price matched! So if your nearing the end of your contract definitely give it a go.

That's an incredible price, well done. Someone at the call centre is getting in trouble for that (edited)

I did think that he had to get a managers authorisation, I did it as a click and collect so it was ready within the hour just incase anyone changed their minds

Think it's just the pick of the draw if you get a decent advisor. I personally wouldn't go back to o2 (was with them 5+yrs) after they fudged my last month in contract with them. You got a stonking deal though

I was actually calling to cancel my contract completely and go sim only with another provider but I couldn't say no to that deal!o2 can be very hit and miss though (edited)

And the airtime plan is £40 a month for 1GB data on a 3 year contract? ;):p

Nope, £33 a month with unlimited everything and I get nhs discount on that brings it to £24.75 on top of the £7.25a month

Will you have to pay the phone off to end the contract?

Once the phone is paid off that side of the contract is finished. The airtime is a contract for 24 months

Well done. It certainly is worth it and they do these daft deals at times. I got one of them on my S22 Ultra 256gb also. Was at the time they giving £300 gift card and £150 extra trade-in, ended up paying £125 for the device though had to wait 3 months for the gift card to qualify while paying £30 for 30gb on the airtime side, felt painful paying that but least knowing you getting the device for a bargain, paid it all off once the gift card arrived and changed my tariff
