Any advice/recommendations for a SIM only deal? Have seen the usual deals about but looking for first hand experience in terms of signal and quality of rewards app.
Thanks

sorted byThree - Crap rewards app - Better signal
Use a coverage checker and buy a prepay SIM to test it for more accurate information.
As for signal, as others have said all depends where you live.
When T-Mobile and Orange merged they just pulled down all the overlapping cell sites. There wasn’t much in the way of signal improvements, and in the early days the data speeds dropped down too because they were loading more customers onto less cell towers. Obviously they worked hard to boost capacity since then to get to the top spot as UK’s best network.
But if we look at other companies who have merged like O2 following their deal with VM - Their network is now abysmal in certain areas because there is too much demand and not enough capacity. Little to no investment has been made to fix this since… And with Three already being a particularly congested phone network I can only see things getting worse rather than better. Particularly in the short term.
signal is location dependent.
Just switched my son to id mobile (3 network) with 10gig for £6 and great signal.
All networks have dead spots. EE is the worst where I live. (edited)
Remember there are way more than 4 networks. All the smaller ones piggyback on someone else, most of the time at better prices and more flexible contracts.
I'm on Lebara who use Vodafone and very happy personally. Lots of offers on this site. But if their signal isn't good for you, then you'll need someone else. 1 month contracts will allow you to try with minimum risk. (edited)
