Well while on holiday I've seen someone with a small cube GoPro. I'm now looking to get one of these but no idea what to go for or just get a second hand one or a budget Amazon action camera?
Or you can probably pick them up on eBay a bit cheaper without warranty
If you can afford it, do it. They are great for adventure. Of course they can be used for stills but for me the phone is much less of a faff all round.
What you wanting it for? If your putting it on a bike, surf board, diving yeah really good. But if you just want holiday photos and videos use your phone
I disagree I use my GoPro over my phone on holidays because it's nicer to hold and has better features like time lapse or astro for example

Just holidays, adventure, waterproof ideally. I have an old phone P20 Pro. But I do own a Canon 5D Mk 3 it's just too bulky for holiday use.
