Bike helmets

My kid is 6 years old but has a 56cm head size so should I just get him an adults bike helmet? Is there much difference bar the colours and styles between a kids and adults helmet if they both offer the same sizes?

    Your best bet is going halfords or somewhere and actually trying a few on, there are a range of sizes for kids

    I don't think an adult helmet will be suitable.. even a S will be too big. Kids one will have a better fit. Amazon do loads

    my head size is 55cm and i have a very light raleigh bike helmet that has adjustable settings. (edited)
