Good Hot Sauce?

Posted 30th Jul 2023
I'm not looking to set my mouth on fire but looking for something that's got a kick and big on flavour. Anyone got any recommendations? I tried Ed Sheerans one and it was terrible.

    This is my staple:

Sometimes I eat a little food with it - just for taste...

    Sriracha?

+1 to this. I wouldn't class it as the hottest sauce I've ever had, but so much flavour. My go to pizza sauce was Tabasco, so I stayed with the Tabasco brand for the Sriracha. Lovely stuff.

I love this stuff and have it in cheese sandwiches

The Lee Kum Kee Chiu Chow Chilli Oil mentioned above is also very nice but I use it as more of a dip

Da Bomb is just sickening, gratuitous, violent chilli with zero taste.

There are hotter sauces that actually have flavour.

    Not Da Bomb

Encona WEST INDIAN ORIGINAL HOT PEPPER SAUCE. Not very hot but definitely tastes great and isn't too vinegary or salty like many others. Edit : just noticed it was posted by a666ndy (edited)

Morrisons hot sauces are great but they seem to come and go.

Habanero sauce at the moment is great. About £1 a bottle.

Flying goose or rooster sriracha sauce. Nothing else comes close to the flavour. I have it on almost everything!
