I got this last Christmas, has been fantastic Drill. Granted a £150 makita one is probably better, but no complaints from me.

B&D aren't what they used to be. You can do better.

Can't see in the description, but I'm assuming for this price it comes without drill bits? The kitbox refers to the carrying case?

Doh, should have proof read before posting.

I do but already collected from Argos last night (",) Cheers

Now price matched by Amazon, in case you have Prime?

Thanks OP, been on my watch list for months.

Went with the 18v one over the 12v during black friday. Amazing bit of kit but as I said that was the higher voltage one.

Works well enough for the dust in the car. For OCD people like me, it's hot.

Had one of these for a while now, no they are not as good as a 240 v cleaner but running from the car battery they do a good job. You have to put a bit of effort going over an area but works well

This my setup too. I have a Ryobi cordless and its fine for drilling into mortar or wood but try drilling into a hard (1930s) brick and it has no chance. My cheapy corded hammer drill with a decent drill bit does it easily.

Yeah, it's out of stock everywhere near me as well, shame.

I'm telling you buddy its out of stock everywhere in a 30 mile radius for me, Swindon, Worcester and Gloucestershire.

Top rant, proud of you but why not just buy it of eBay Argos & click and collect?

I just tried to Not showing in stock for me pal. I just went into Currys to try and price-match, this is the result which I've emailed to their CEO: I've just come back home after a laborious 45-minute ordeal in your Cheltenham store where I tried in earnest to purchase a hoover which the Argos over the road was selling on some kind of Black Friday promotion for £49.99 down from £99.99 At first I spoke to Will who informed me I needed to show him the product on Argos's website. I guess their server went down due to demand as the site wouldn't load. Argos also have the product available for purchase on their eBay outlet which is an identical product, new, unused, non-refurbished, it's just an alternate outlet to retail their goods. This apparently wasn't acceptable for price-matching (I suppose eBay is a dirty word even if it's a legitimate product from a legitimate storefront who has adapted to an online-market) Will then busied himself helping other customers and left me standing off to the site where I decided I would start again with an available colleague, Filipe. I ran him through the same request, Argos have this, their website is now working so we compared product codes and found me the identical model on Curry's website for £122.99 There was no product in stock at this store and I stated collection at a later date would be fine, he rang it up for me and the total came to... £122.99. I stated the price was incorrect as I was looking to match and we ran through the process again, the price came to.... ... £122.99. So I stated once more I am looking to price match Argos's in-store, online and eBay promotional price of £49.99 and he called a manager. Tom came over and I went through it again for the fourth time. Argos have this product, etc etc. Tom spent the next 10 minutes furiously comparing everything from Spec to colour to code to voltage, in my opinion, desperately trying to find a discrepancy between products so he wouldn't have to price match. Eventually I suppose the golden goose of Terms & Conditions came forth and he declared jubilantly "I know why I can't price match this - because it's out of stock on the Argos website!" I'm stood in the middle of Curry's wondering if this is some kind of joke. I've been back and forth for 45 minutes waiting for someone to please just honour the commitments that are plastered on almost every conceivable surface of the store and online "Price match promise" "Price match guarantee" "You won't get it cheaper!" nowhere does it state the product must be in stock - oh, except for buried within the T&C's. If you ask me, this is complete rubbish. Either honour a competing price or don't bother. It must've emptied stock within the last few moments as it was in stock in Gloucester and in Swindon and in Worcester, all places I could get to at some time, but I opted to go for the convenience of having this hoover delivered to my local store and swanning over at my own leisure and picking it up, in addition Currys state the product has a 2 year guarantee which swayed my decision over Argos and getting it delivered at a later date. The final tally is Chris - 0, Curry's - 1 because of a small technicality in Price Matching. Sebastian, can I ask you a serious question? If the product for price matching must be available in a local store, then what's the point? Why not just go to where it's available and buy it for that price instead of faffing around with apparently untrained staff and getting a price match? In fact, I distinctly remember in September I price matched a computer headset because Argos did not have it in stock and had it for a cheaper price than Currys - on this occasion it was price-matched immediately and I walked out the store with the product I wanted. My overarching impression is that A) Currys are misleading potential customers, B) Staff are improperly trained when it comes to price matching and C) The bottom line is Currys did not want to discount a £122.99 Hoover to £49.99 because it would negatively impact the stores P&L figure and I get the distinct feeling Tom didn't want to lose any commission from that adjusted P&L figure. The whole thing stinks and I'm wondering if I can take it further? Maybe Trading Standards / ASA would find the advertisement misleading. When I google "Currys wont price match" I see a similar running theme of countless disappointed shoppers. I really hope you can help, - Me

I have one of these. It's got more black detailing on it and it's a bit squarer-looking so it might be a different model. I love it though, use it all the time. Well worth 30 quid

Am sure I bought mine from B&Q for £20 several years ago

I've got one and as a budget cordless I'm more then satisfied with it. Only thing is filter is nightmare to clean. On that basis I would buy Dyson or similar in the future. Performance is fine for me. This won't replace your main vacuum cleaner though like Dyson or more expensive brands which have as much suction as corded.

It's a good price but unfortunately Which gave it 33 percent don't buy rating. It got a one star rating for both carpet and hard floor cleaning performance. Quote "It's awful at cleaning carpets, has a terrible filtration system, it's noisy and it can't clean in crevices".

I agree, my neighbour decided to give one of these a try painting their fence and the mess they made below it on their newly built decking was laughable. The patio area and fence still looks a right right mess after they gave up.

Big word of advice. Be prepared to get complaints from neighbours. Using these types of things outside with the slightest of breeze and you’ll cover cars, windows, etc. Make sure you spray on a calm day, whenever that happens.

Someone posted the tool box a few mins before I did:

Probably not store specific as it is on their website at £5.

Is the toolbox store specific?
