All Black & Decker Discounts, Offers and Sale - April 2018
Obligatory warning that Wickes will never stop spamming you with texts and emails if you give them to them. They don't honour opt-out requests.
Probably if things are already on sale.
Just tried to apply it to some flooring (£380) and it says "We're sorry but your voucher code has not been applied.". The flooring is 40% off so wonder if that's why? The T&Cs don't seem to rule out sale items though?
Thanks Op (y)
Sadly not, most reviews say how thin metalled and poorly built these modern ones are compared to 20+ year old workmates.
I thought this was hot. But... I was in Homebase... https://www.homebase.co.uk/black-and-decker-workmate-wm536_p835189 £37.99 nationwide instore!
Had one of these for about 35 years and it's still going strong. I wonder if they still build them as well as back then. Have to vote cold though (not really) as I'm sure I didn't pay £50 for mine :p
Seen in Tesco Kilmarnock with yellow sticker for £19.99 about a week ago
Thanks for sharing - hopefully it's a national deal! :)
Miss leading edit as it's not a prime only deal imho. But thanks for clarification on the way you want Amazon listings 😊
you have to spend over £20 to get free delivery if you don't have an Amazon prime membership as shown on the listing Pic added above from listing :) The non-prime price includes the delivery charge.
But 9.99 is the non prime price????
Thanks for sharing @patrickpldj - with Amazon deals we list the both the Prime and Non-prime price in the deal title if relevant so please don't edit out, thanks (y)
I'm sure I paid about a fiver for my angle grinder from Argos about 20 years ago, probably used it less than 10 times. Useful to have when you need one but you might as well get the cheapest one you can find the amount you'll use it and they all do the same thing don't they? ..I have seen a contraption that turns them into a mini chainsaw tho hahaha.
metal discs 3pk £1.29
Seems expensive to me. usually about £12 for a basic angle grinder. Discs about £5 tops at screwfix. range grinder
Decent price for a basic angle grinder but FFS make sure you know how to use one / mount disks / correct PPE etc.... these things can be extremely dangerous!
Keep your receipt....the Orange range is the lowest quality range that black and Decker do.
Had one of these for about 25 years now. The original came with a 184mm blade and it's lasted well. Yes the blade too lol
Oooh, a lalser!
suck them up with straw you filthy beast.... ;)
Cheap for what there are and I've tried a few different models and brands in the past. For 30 quid I'd rather blow the crumbs under the couch
Your one has a more powerful motor I would think if its stating the bigger watts that the battery has to power, so you can lift bigger crumbs but i'd suspect for less time as the same battery is powering a bigger motor. Oh you do get smart tech too! Keep an eye on how much charge you have left.
What a fool you’ve made me feel lol yes absolutely, have just realised it’s to do with the battery pmsl So the version I bought is basically the same, just with a charging dock and a extra suck button :)
It seems that this is a scam to get people's personal details. I waited 10 days only to find that my "application" had been rejected and, guess what? The drill is now out of stock!
Has anyone actually tried to buy this? You have to go through a (7-10 day) credit check even if you want to buy it with a credit card! Reminds me of trying to buy anything in the old USSR.
That's not a hammer drill. Only for wood and steel.
Hi I'm useless with drills. I have a corded Bosch, paid £30 for it. Will the 18v you've listed a link to be good enough for drilling into concrete walls??
I think that this is a goof deal if only for flat pack which is what my Makitta is mainly used for. Amazon have the 18v one as deal of the day for £36 https://www.amazon.co.uk/BLACK-DECKER-Lithium-Ion-Drill-Driver/dp/B01I2XDICS/ref=sr_1_8?s=diy&ie=UTF8&qid=1511369549&sr=1-8&keywords=cordless+drill
It's from months ago and has expired 😳
I have tried several times and code does not work
sorry not working for me could it of Expired thanks for posting
7.2V? I guess the advantage of this is you don't have to charge it either, just feed the hamster a few more scraps of lettuce when it slows down in it's wheel.... ;)
I think this has already been posted....its VERY compact
Yes it would probably be fine with thinner paint
I would think not as masonry paint is quite thick unless you thinned it
Anyone know if masonry paint will work in this? It would save me alot of time if it does
If your happy to take the time for a quality finish, use rollers and brushes like any respectable decorator would to get the quality finish!
Helpful comment! Wanna tell us where?
Why do hotukdeals email me a day after these deals appear and which have already expired. Completely pointless.
With Li-ion batteries it's best to top them up every time if you want it to last longer.
Link shows a price of £127, needs to be expired
Yuk NiCD batteries. I'd go for the £35 screwfix one instead, at least that is Li-ion.
can get 8m tape from pound land but don't last long
Bargain, especially if you're a stickler for Stanley like me.. but if you're still gna be cheap, you can get a 2.5m, 5m or 7.5m blackspur brand one for £2 from Amazon as a non add-on item - perfectly solid tape too for £2 (I have the 5m one)
Mines arriving Wednesday. Also unexpired as it's back on.
I went onto this and bought the silverline one for £3
That didn't last long! Will expire
Expired up to £20 now
Gone up to £20
I've found the best for brickwork and masonry are the Dewalt Extreme 2 at about £10 for 5 bits, they easily outperform any other regular (non SDS) drill bit in tough brick or concrete and for metal the Dewalt Extreme 2 HSS (not cheap) and for wood I use various including Dewalts wood Some of the kits are good to get you out of trouble but they're nearly always full of half useless bits, the masonry especially useless if you have tough bricks and concrete.
The '80 piece' set consists of 20 drill bits (of dubious quality) and the rest is little screwdriver bits you're unlikely to need. Unless you have absolutely no tools at all you're far better off buying decent quality stuff that you actually need.
Which are the best quality out of all these? Are they better than the bosch sets at £10?
heat added and ordered the 80pc thank you op
If anyone actually wants this 'workmate' which looks flimsier than the OP's bookcase then its available for delivery if you are happy to pay £5 more
This has got to be the weirdest deal post ever. What is the point in posting???
So what's the point of posting???
also mean click and collect this post was to show all the b&q clearance are harder to find than hens teeth!
It's not available for click and collect
Would anyone who purchased this know if this comes with a case? There isn't any mention of it in the description. Thanks
Might try that MacAllister one from B and Q.
Mine has just failed and searched for grinders on here, Lidl version is better, but cant find. Screwfix budget one is a cople of quid dearer, but faster and higher power.
sorry to say but my bike was stolen just a month ago and trust me no one would approach you with this in your hand
not sure, haven't used it yet, but lidl had 1200W 125mm with variable speed, 3 handle position, spare brushes and a disc for £20 a few weeks back - you might get lucky if there's some left. They had blades as well for about £4-5
I've got one. It's good for fences. You have to water down certain paints. Frankly this is too expensive.. it's a £25 quid tool imo.
could use it to spray my tan :D
these are ok but not great, the Wagner w100 is however superb, worth spending the extra tenner
B&M have been selling these on & off for around £20 for the past couple of years. Not the best of devices but as long as the paint viscosity is ok then the results are reasonable (I only use it for non-vinyl emulsion paints & outdoor water-based fence treatments). Wouldn't like to pay more than £20 though.
Any one recommend?
They claim it will " effortlessly scoop up large debris" but the images they use the largest items they show are dried cat biscuits. 2.4v will pick up nothing but the lightest of rubbish. Fairly useless vacuum.
cheaper at CPC.
Black and Decker hoover? Have they merged?
There are crap, you'd be lucky if the charge last 15 minutes
oh no its a glitch, bet you Tesco honor this one though, anyone who ordered one should be looking for a refund once they get it of course serve them right for cancelling so many other glitches. Credit to John Lewis who are the only company this year so far who have honored a glitch with me.
