All Fitbit Charge 2 Discounts, Offers and Sale - August 2018
Don't think this deal exists anymore :(
Please expire, this combination has gone up to £125…
Yep, it's not ideal having to take the phone. I don't jog but even walking I don't like having my phone.
Expire please, price no longer valid
So I would have to take my phone when out running then in order to track GPS ? My 10+ year old Garmin is still better then !
Ahh i see... pretty weird? Like an ice cream truck lol... weird..
Look into Amazon Treasure Truck. It’s not posted, you go to pick it up from the truck...
Pretty silly.. didnt me tion that in deal and everything is posted across country now anyway so why does location matter... ugh...
Nothing. You are like me - if it's not available in your area it's not available to you.
Sorry, how do you get the duffel bag and protein?
This is a really good price isn’t it? Why the low heat?
Yup. It says Amazon Prime in description
Prime members only FYI
Select a size and then it goes to £79.99
Care to add any info? Doesn't seem to be coming up for £79.99 from the link you provided...
Where did you get it from if you don t mind me asking?
Got the amazefit bip for £46, wayyyyy better than these fitbits.
No, but you can get other fitness trackers that are better, for much less. Something like a quarter of the price for a Mi Band 2
Yes there are various display options for time, heart rate, steps etc including a blank display where information only appears when you move your wrist to look at the fitbit
don't understand the cold votes. can you get this cheaper elsewhere?
So Alexa changes Tv/Radio channel for you, boils your kettle, adjusts the heating, checks who's at the door, answers your phone, switches on/off your lights sockets etc etc etc, then you ask Alexa to check in with your Fitbit to see how sedentary you are :/
I've asked to Amazon to price match as it's their product and they also sell Charge 2 Large. They don't sell as a bundle, but they might set up one to price match Currys. Maybe they don't know it works with Echo's. :p
Yes to echo and any fitbit...check this out www.tomsguide.com/us/connect-fitbit-to-amazon-echo,review-3474.html
Do the Fitbit and the Dot work together if you have both of them?
Showing 149£ now
That is poor .. a 2017 samsung phone not compatible .. not good .. sorry to hear
Slightly off topic but if going to be using fitbit app on your mobile make sure it is compatible. My husband's mob isn't and I changed my mobile fortnight ago and discovered not compatible. Last mobile was samsung and loved syncing my data every day. This is a 2017 samsung model but not able sync at all and not on list of compatible models. Not happy at all as I thought a 2017 phone would be fine.
I saw the Fitbit charge 2 in Dixon's at Edinburgh Airport for £89.yesterday...if you happen to be flying then may be worth a look...may be national...may not. I already have a Charge 2 but am looking for the wife.
True, both Amazon and Google are pushing these out any way they can. I'm not bothered if it's always listening, I have Google Home because I'm always with my phone anyway - OK Google detection would be activated on my phone if I didn't have GH so Google would be listening either way (I have nothing much to hide as well).
Now back to 119.99
It's now £99.99 at house of Fraser with free delivery and 500 bonus recognition points too
Probably for Fitbit app alone
been this price on amazon for a while, sister bought last week, plus free delivery
Fitbit is no better. They 'guess'. They have been sued in the US for quality and the fact that they are not at all accurate.
Agreed but It does have a heart rate monitor so that's in line with what you said. Also the active 10 app is terrible
Yeah, for a week or two.....
For some a band provides the motivation to get the extra steps in and start feeling good about themselves
It's not the 1960's. 10,000 steps a day might help you lose some weight, but that is not the same as being fit. Maybe try reading one of the links below, or some of the many, many other views outside of the glossy mags before you blow close to 100 quid. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/health-fitness/body/10000-step-myth-real-health-goals-should-aim/ http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-42864061 Heart beats, not steps ;)
No it's £75 on the sky store, though irrelevant as it's out of stock.
For those that want the sky link its here @ran123ran
Looks like everyone is offloading stock while they can, charge 3 is due soon
Sky as in sky tv? Didnt know they sold such stuff.
Happy to help. I have considered buying an Alta HR but haven't committed just yet.
No, yes. You request heart rate at ny given time.
That's not what I mean. Does it keep track of your heart rate throughout the day or do you have to keep asking it?
Heart rate any time you ask it to.
Does it read heart rate 24/7 like the Charge 2? Just wondering.
Stop messing with expensive rubbish - Xiaomi Mi band 2 is brilliant for under £20! A charge lasts a month too.
A google search, reviews etc all seem ok. Plus used Paypal. But cancelled order as it seems Fitbit doesn't really work well with Strava or Endomondo so no point having it.
And what a chance you've taken. Did you research tobtdeals first?
https://www.tobydeals.co.uk/en_GB/product/fitbit-charge-2-heart-rate-fitness-wristband-large-black-silver.html £86 here, I've taken a chance.
I checked Camelcamelcamel and its been £88 in the past and it looks like a drop is on the way, I'll hold off, but again thanks for the info.
I won't waste my money either....
FIT20 no longer works only the FIT10
Love mine, had it since the end of January and it's been a great motivator to move. I use all the features and link in with community too. This is also a decent price.
Probably voting cold because there's not much features for the price. I found my originally hr to break in the strap too not sure what these are like. For 20 pounds more you could get something like the TomTom spark music cardio with has heart rate monitor, GPS. Waterproof for swimming, 21 days battery, storage for music to play to Bluetooth headphones. I think fitbit you are kinda paying for the name, they do look nice too though :)
It maybe good but I wont touch a fitbit with a brown dollop on a stick. In the space of a week my son had 3 fitbit alta's. 1 lasted 6hrs on a full charge, second was dead on arrival and yhe 3rd lasted 4hrs. Serious quality issues. These were from Amazon, back to mii band 2 for him now.
Still a good buy despite cheaper alternatives, the app is excellent with a big community, and the customer service is very friendly and efficient
I really appreciate this, thank you for taking the time to post. Will get one ordered now.
Hi, just to clear up. The model is the Amazfit Bip (I have the Amazfit Pace Sport). They are both manufactured by a Chinese company called Huami. However, they have both been sold under another Chinese Company's branding, Xiaomi. Confused much? :D The Pace is a reasonable size, about 45mm. I'm not sure on the Bip, but it's shaped more cube like a la Apple Watch. Here's a pic of mine, with a ruler stuffed behind it, against an A4 page with a standard biro reference :) I'd say the Bip sounds amazing for the £38 on this thread! https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/xiaomi-huami-amazfit-bip-lite-international-version-gearbest-3787-2894853
Good Morning, Does the Amazon one look huge on the wrist? the pictures make it look really big and I have tiny wrists. I was going to order to the Fitbit one but would really like to look in to an alternative where possible, especially if cheaper and does the same job? Thank you so much in advance.
Done thank you
It's on amazon hawui or something similar. Fitbit support is woeful too
whats the code?
Hi Annedawso can you give me more details about the replacement strap please? Cheers
Bought a Fitbit charge 2 the other week and really impressed. Bought a Milanese Stainless steel strap off eBay for £7 and prefer it the the original strap. It is dressier and comfier. Also tried a Garmin but wanted something that looked smarter that I could wear all the time.
Hi is there a link for that please Bedford? These for its are also reduced now on Amazon, Currys, Tesco and John Lewis.
Just get a Xiaomi Miband 2 for under 20 quid and be done with it. Brilliant bits of kit!
Anyone know if this price is still going?
89.99 In John Lewis too, prefer their warranty service
Same price in Argos and Curry's if that helps people
Also Fitbit flex 2 for £40
This was in my Sainsbury’s too so assume nationwide.
Bought mine from argos Working absolutely fine. No issues at all. Steps tracking is fairly accurate Syncing with galaxy s8 takes about 5 seconds. Overall i am very pleased. My only gripe is wearing it at night is a bit of a disfomfort as i am not used to wearing watch at night while sleep. I have had it for 3 days and i drove too and didnt notice the additional steps added. Might be worth getting another pair as yours might be faulty. I will keep an eye on it but so far i am very happy. If you wana be more accurate get a chest strap and not a wrist band. Personally i use it to gauge some indication of my activity. Messages come through fine too but i use another app for that called "fit notifications" works like a dream. Google fit notifications. Hope it helps
anyone know if this or the blaze is better? I know of the price difference so I suspect the blaze has more functions; feel just not sure if they are needed or make it better. Going up in price again was probably leaning more toward the Samsung gear s3. Is it notably better than the charge and blaze ? Appreciate any help/subjective opinions. Price tag doesn't always mean better hence the questions as to which does the job best. Thanks :)
I got one for Xmas but I'm not sure to be honest. First day it tracked 22000 steps when I barely moved my ass all day. I reset it but it's still over counting my steps (not as bad as 22k though). I may also return - I'm convinced it's faulty. Also takes ages to sync and even with Bluetooth on all day the text/phone notifications don't go to it! (I've ckecked all my settings on the fitbit app too and they are correct). So far I'm disappointed. Last year I bought a cheap xoiami one and although it only lasted six months it was very accurate.
Counting steps always going to be not 100% accurate, I think they have some suggestions on there site like it shouldn't be too loose and that.... but to be honest I am not big fan of these things monitoring me all of the time ;)
I purchased this from Argos on Friday for the same price and returned it today for a refund. I was very unhappy with the tracking side of things constantly adding steps for no reason. The final nail in the coffin was the 3k steps it added while traveling in the car to London (lol) (lol) fitbits advice was to take it off while your driving and charge it or download a app that you activate when driving and it removes the steps etc to much hassle compared to others you can buy. Maybe mine was faulty but looking at the reviews it’s a very common issue with this model
A John Lewis, has A customer return?
Used? Was same price for a new one with first online order @ Costco
What colours? (highfive)
Clear? Not another model coming?
Curry's also has a 2 year warranty.
John Lewis came through great when I returned my Fitbit, for what it's worth. Device is good as a basic monitor and motivator, but HR estimate was spotty and inconsistent. Worth paying less for the non-HR devices. Just as good for motivating with steps and/or sleep and boast good app compatibility.
Had this and works good, then got gear3 and ok price is 3x but the gear is worth it but if ur short of cash this is a good everyday watch. Heat
