P30 pro, looking to upgrade, thinking of going for a pixel 7 pro! Good move? Bad move? What would you do for? On EE the moment

My wife went for pixel 7 from p30 pro and she misses it. I would avoid it

Get an s23 the uk got the new snap dragon cpu this year and battery life is the best available, pixels aren't that great and many had and still have issues with some of the models (edited)

I had the same predicament a couple of months ago. Just wanted a phone with good battery and very good camera that rivals the p30 Pro. Ended up buying the S23 Ultra as there was a pretty good deal on and it's been a great phone. Charging every other day at the moment.

if U got student beans U can get s23 ultra for around 799£. That's brilliant deal but if not get yourseld Google pixel 7 pro. Bought last year for Mrs on black Friday deal and she loves it! I'm in same boat now (need to change phone, port broke on my Honor 8X, changed it, it does work but battery doesn't hold long enough and no updates no more on it.) Will wait till black friday for some crazy good deals for Google Pixel 8 Pro if none will purchase 7pro or s23 ultra.

Don't know if U want to stay with EE, I know they are really expensive compare to competitors 😁

Don't get a pixel 7 pro IF battery life is important to you! I got rid of mine as I was charging it twice a day! And rarely would it last a full day with moderate use!

That's interesting. I think U had a faulty one tbh. My mate just got a new one after reporting same issue, no problem with the new replacement .

Mrs use hers ALL DAY charge it in morning and thru night for mext6 day.

All the other comments are saying Magic 5 Pro or S23 Ultra. Both are the real beast, choose with a blind fold and you will be fine.

Thanks for all the replies people, I thought I was set on going for a pixel, but now I am not so sure maybe samsung is the way forward! Should I jump ship from EE also? 🤷‍♂️ I'm not a heavy user, the usual unlimited text and calls and around 40gb of data would do me! Thoughts please

I still have the p30 pro for the last 3 years. No reason to upgrade. Didn't slow down, battery last me more than a day. I think when the battery degrades I`ll just replace the battery directly with Huawei as they are not too expensive

Yes I have used the battery replacement for my (standard) P30 and they replaced the knackered usb port for free at the same time, I was very impressed. And relieved, as I couldn't find any phone i liked as much. Considered a pixel 6 but that was a backwards step in some areas even for the p30

I am on my 3rd P30 Pro, can't find a device to better it yet!

I still can't decide what to go for? Never had an issue with my p30 pro! But would like a slightly bigger screen! What should I go for?? Also is it time to change away from EE??
