The PlayStation Plus Collection is closing
From 9 May the PlayStation®Plus Collection will no longer be available as a PlayStation Plus benefit. You can add any of the titles from the PlayStation Plus Collection to your Game Library before 9 May and play at any time in the future with an active PlayStation Plus membership.
PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue, Monthly Games and other existing benefits will not be affected by this change.

DeedieTrying to find the collection on the app so I can add them to my library. But can't figure out how to view the collection. It's disappeared. Anybody able to find it on the app?
choccie32Go to Ps plus on your game menu, then next to latest, benefits, collections, click benefits then scroll to bottom and it’s in the grey boxes on the left
SpudUKA heads up, you can claim these on PS5, and then download and play them on PS4 since the game collection is just a set of PS4 games available for play on the PS5 (flatmate lent me his PS5 to claim them all). (edited)

rfx321Managed to add all the titles to my Game Library just now, so still seems to work.I couldn't find the PS Plus Collection section like before, but searching the game individually gave me the option to add to Game Library (including the games that were not part of any subscription).(edited)

Kal-ElWhat's the point in removing them? It just disincentives me from subscribing to Plus.
SnoopZI guess it was an incentive to purchase a PS5 over 2 years ago, it gave people 20 top games that they could keep as long as subscribed to plus, I believe someone said most of these games are part of PS Plus Extra now so maybe the reason it's not needed anymore.

Solidcancer07Yes you will still have access. Downloading them is not necessary- SnoopZYes everyone with a PS5 needs to add the 18 games to their collection before midnight, then they can play anytime as long as have an active PS+ sub.

saghirhhi guys ive tried to go on here and it says upgrade to premium i only have the ps plus essentials, do i need to upgrade to premium for these games.SnoopZAs part of the games collection these 19 games are not available anymore so not free for PS5 owners, you're 24hrs too late I am afraid.
However someone said most of these are now part of the PS+ Extra or Premium tier so if you want to play in the future upgrade to that or Premium, but there is a chance some may get removed from PS+ in the future. (edited)

My understanding is most of these games are also part of the PS+ Extra tier so if you eventually sub to that they maybe still on the service. (edited)

It's also worth mentioning that many of these games are available through PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium. Only three of these titles are not a part of the broader subscription, those being Battlefield I, Call of Duty Black Ops III, and Monster Hunter: World.
