    This is why:

Google has withdrawn the Send Me A Sample app from its third-party apps accessible on Google Assistant due to a number of factors, including:

    • Concerns about the app's privacy practices. The app collected a wide range of personal data from users, including their names, addresses, and phone numbers. This data was then shared with third-party companies without users' knowledge or consent.
    • Concerns about the app's security practices. The app was vulnerable to a number of security flaws, which could have allowed hackers to steal users' personal data.
    • Concerns about the app's overall quality. The app was poorly designed and difficult to use. It also had a number of bugs and glitches.
As a result of these concerns, Google has decided to withdraw the Send Me A Sample app from its third-party apps accessible on Google Assistant. Google has also taken steps to improve its security and privacy practices for all third-party apps.

Here are some additional details about the reasons for Google's decision:

    • Privacy concerns: The Send Me A Sample app collected a wide range of personal data from users, including their names, addresses, and phone numbers. This data was then shared with third-party companies without users' knowledge or consent. Google has a strong commitment to user privacy, and it does not allow third-party apps to collect or share personal data without users' consent.
    • Security concerns: The Send Me A Sample app was vulnerable to a number of security flaws, which could have allowed hackers to steal users' personal data. Google takes security very seriously, and it does not allow third-party apps that are vulnerable to security flaws to be available on Google Assistant.
    • Quality concerns: The Send Me A Sample app was poorly designed and difficult to use. It also had a number of bugs and glitches. Google wants to ensure that all third-party apps available on Google Assistant are of high quality and meet users' expectations.
Google is committed to providing users with a safe and secure experience when using Google Assistant. The company has taken steps to improve its security and privacy practices for all third-party apps, and it will continue to monitor these apps to ensure that they meet users' expectations.

Aw well, no real loss, it was fun when it worked, but really they never had enough samples or a high enough frequency of samples available. I'll not be mourning it;s passing.
