I'm a newbie to Costco, just wanted to ask if I can get an individual membership in store or do I have to do it online? I'm a teacher so qualify for it, but I wanted to visit today. Is that possible? Thanks!

Sign up online and then go to the CS desk in store for them to take your proof, take your picture and give you your card.

Do it online. You still have to queue up instore to have your photo taken & show proof of entitlement. They then hand you your card.

If you want to do it all instore you will be waiting a lot longer for the whole process.
