Best phone under £400?

Does anyone have any suggestions as what the best sub £400 phone i can get is please, including
older flagships?

The only criteria is:
Android o/s
Decent battery life and camera is essential.

I would appreciate input. Thanks

Pixel 7/7a or Samsung A54. Could try an Xperia 5 iii or a Samsung S21 FE/S22/S22+. S23 FE confirmed so S21 FE will be cheaper once officially released.

Oppo Find X3 Neo (hotukdeals.com/dea…19/) - great camera (main camera is the same as in the X3 Pro) and battery, and dual sim. Although it is a 2021 release, so further security patches will only be available for a short while.

Thank you all. I was thinking about Pixels but heard that the battery life was disappointing on most models.

No worries. I've previously used a 4a briefly which was good but from what I've heard the 6a's battery life is somewhat of a disappointment and the 6 was okay apparently. I cannot comment on the 7 series but you would hope it would have been improved. This is the only reason why I didn't mention the 6a initially.
