The Mobile Networks Offering a Range of Value-Added Perks and Benefits

Posted 11th Sep 2023
This is possibly common knowledge on site for most, but I thought I'd list together some of the key benefits you receive from some of the main / MVNO networks below, should you take out a contract with one of them, I wouldn't let the benefits help you choose a network / contract, always base it on coverage / cost, but the perks / benefits do help sometimes

Some people unbelievably are missing out on some of the below, so stop being a silly billy and take full advantage if not already:

4199386_1.jpgEE Perks

Free 6 Month Freebies
If you're either new to EE (a mobile network provider) or you're renewing your EE contract, you can get a fantastic perk: a free six-month subscription to Apple Music. Normally, Apple Music costs £9.99 per month, so this deal is a great money-saver for music lovers.

Apple Music is similar to Spotify, offering access to a vast library of over 30 million songs. But here's the catch: if you're already an EE customer, this offer doesn't apply to you right now. It's exclusively for new customers and those upgrading their EE plans.

Smart Number
EE has introduced a smart number technology that's pretty clever. It lets EE customers use their phone number on other devices like tablets, smartwatches, or laptops. So, even if you don't have your smartphone with you because it's out of battery or you've left it at home, you can still make and receive calls using the same phone number on these other connected devices.

What's even better is that this service won't cost you anything extra. It's available for both new customers who are just joining EE and existing ones who have been with EE for a while. So, you can enjoy this convenient feature without any additional charges.

So not many perks on EE, but they do offer some of the best connectivity in the UK, some MVNO's who run off EE network, and maybe worth a look are

4199386_1.jpgO2 Perks

O2 Priority
If you're a fan of breakfast and enjoy a good deal, O2 has some fantastic perks for you. If you're an O2 Priority member, you can get some sweet discounts on food and drinks. For example, you can grab a free coffee from Greggs every week, and on Fridays or Saturdays, you can choose between a free breakfast roll, sausage roll, or vegan sausage roll.

O2 Priority has one of the best rewards apps out there. It's not just about breakfast; you can also find great promotions and discounts for various high-street stores, restaurants, and events. Plus, there are exciting competitions exclusively for O2 customers, where you have a chance to win big prizes like cash, holidays, and even brand-new cars. So, being an O2 customer comes with some pretty cool benefits!

O2 Venue Perks
When you're at a venue, being an O2 customer comes with some awesome extras. These extras include benefits like getting to skip the regular lines and gaining access to exclusive lounge areas. You can also use the cloakroom for free, and enjoy discounts on food and drinks.

All you need to do to enjoy these perks is download the O2 app and show it to an O2 Angel or a staff member at the venue. They'll help you make the most of these special advantages during your visit. It's a simple and convenient way to enhance your experience when you're out and about.

Disney+
When customers sign up for a specific O2 deal, they'll receive a complimentary six-month subscription to Disney Plus. Disney Plus is a highly popular streaming service from Disney.

Typically, a Disney Plus subscription costs £7.99 each month. With this special offer, you'll save almost £42 over the span of six months because you won't have to pay for the subscription during that time. It's a great way to enjoy Disney's content without the monthly fee.

O2 have possibly some of the best perks available from any network, but again, check coverage, as the perks don't maketh the network, some MVNO's who run off EE network, and maybe worth a look are:

4199386_1.jpgThree Perks

Three+ App
If you're a Three customer and you download their Three+ rewards app, you're in for some fantastic deals. This app offers amazing offers from well-known brands like Cineworld and Caffè Nero. One of the standout perks is that you can grab a free any-size Barista blended drink at Caffè Nero every week.

But that's not all. In most cases, Three customers can also enjoy one free 2D standard cinema ticket per week, valid from Friday to Sunday, at Cineworld and Picturehouse theaters. So, if you're planning a movie night or a date night, Three has you covered. And for those romantic occasions, you can enjoy an 18% discount on five orders from the florist Bloom & Wild. It's a great way to make your special moments even more special with these fantastic offers.

A bit like Vodafone really, only one main perk, some mvno's who run off the Three network:

  • (Who offer £1.25 back for every GB data you don't use, applied to the following month)
  • Freedompop

4199386_1.jpgVodafone Perks

Vodafone Veryme
Vodafone has a rewards app called VeryMe, and it's packed with great deals. With this app, you can snag discounts and free goodies from popular places like Costa Coffee, Hotel Chocolat, and Millie's Cookies. Plus, there are frequent prize draws and competitions to participate in.

But the real standout feature is an ongoing offer that's a real winner. It lets you buy two Vue cinema tickets every week for just £7. You can use these tickets on any day and at any time. It's a fantastic deal for movie lovers, giving you affordable access to the cinema whenever you like.

Perks for RED Customers
Vodafone has some exciting entertainment offers for its Red bundle customers. If you're on a Red plan, you can enjoy premium entertainment services like YouTube Premium, Spotify Premium, or Amazon Prime as part of your mobile plan. Additionally, you can use the "Charge to Bill" feature to add services like Netflix and discovery+ to your Vodafone bill.

With this deal, Red users can pick one of these options and use it for free throughout their 24-month contract. That means you can either watch popular movies and shows, access exclusive YouTube content, or enjoy Spotify Premium without any extra cost. And for football enthusiasts, the inclusion of Amazon Prime, which broadcasts 20 Premier League matches, is fantastic news.

If you're on a pay monthly plan with a Red Value bundle, you can enjoy one of these passes for up to 24 months. Select SIM-only customers can also choose one of these passes, but their access is limited to up to 12 months. It's a great way for Vodafone customers to enhance their entertainment experience.

Vodafone don't offer much, Veryme would be the main reason you would choose them based on perks, shop around for better deals, some mvno's who run off Vodafone are:

    Hi

I notice EE is no longer listed on uSwitch or Money Supermarket comparison sites. Any idea why they have been delisted? Are the only deals on EE sim only from the official EE site now?

They probably don't want to pay the referral commission.

Heat for the effort (even though it’s a discussion ). Not sure about the other network operators offers (how up to date they are) but the weekly Three+ Cafe Nero drink isn’t free anymore. It’s £1. Also no Vue free 2x tickets cinema offer. That seems to have moved over to Sky. You can get a £3 Cineworld OR Picturehouse cinema ticket every week for Fri-Sundays. Well at least on my Three+ app you can.
    Thanks Mr Switch

Vodafone & O2 seem to be the best for offers imo (edited)

It never was free. They were sensible unlike o2. There used to be unlimited codes but now they’ve reached a limit. So now at the end of the week they’ve all gone which triggers people getting their code at the beginning of the week which then makes the situation worse. Hope it doesn’t go the same way as o2. Shame o2 didn't start charging a £1 I would have preferred that but horses for courses I suppose. Well done though switchy.
