I paid £60 for this a few months back and got to say, even the "lower" end of the fitbits with HR, its really good. Im not a fan of wearing jewlery and watches (still getting use to the wedding ring ha!) but as this is alot thiner than most, you tend not to notice it after a while. Plus, it does the job! HR is great and takes steps. Sure, the fitbit app is clunky but thats not the end of the world :) Have some heat OP

Anyone in the market for Fitbit - have a look on the famous bidding site. The higher end versions Charge 3 , Ionic & Versa seem to be going for £40-60 brand new, Just the devices without the strap & charger (both can be bought together for £10 on the same website). I have ordered mine and its meant to be delivered today and the tracking number says its comming straight from fitbit netherlands.
It's a question of whether you want to share your heart rate data with China or the USA.
It’s worth noting that Fitbits come with a two year warranty if purchased in the EEA .I have used it several times without problems
Just go to Amazon and put in "fitness tracker", take a look at the price range between 20 and 30 and choose the one you like. The 1st 7 that come up when I searched were all under 30 and have great features.
Never miss a 'Fitbit Alta' deal again!

i was looking for a slim fitness tracker and this seems to fit the bill as i noticed that the models tend to be women as the wrist band is small so suitable for women. but i read that they are discontinued by the manufacturer?
Good luck returning it if it's faulty

The Alta HR has been discontinued by Fitbit. For very similar money (£89.99 less 10%) you can get the newer Inspire HR which adds water resistance albeit in a slightly less elegant package: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FITBIT-Inspire-HR-Fitness-Tracker-Black-Universal/123708500092 The Alta HR L in black is available from eBuyer for £64.98 + delivery if you are so inclined: https://www.ebuyer.com/788260-fitbit-alta-hr-heart-rate-and-fitness-tracker-large-black-fb408sbkl-eu

Anyone know how to solve the Fitbit app just not working for Android? According to the recent reviews from the last few months I'm not the only one having problems... Can't connect my charge HR to my phone atall... It's not the Fitbit it's the android app as it's the same on my gf's note 9
I've just started looking for a fitness tracker for my wife but have no idea what to get. i have seen fitbits and garmin which seem like the popular brands but are quite expensive. All she needs is a calories and step counter mainly. What do you guys recommend as something that is good quality, easy to use and cost effective. I've read reviews but wanted some input from anyone here as I trust there is some good knowledge of these here. Any help appreciated.
Still rather expensive, these were more cost effective: https://buff.ly/2TITKgu
I’ve owned the Alta HR for nearly a year now and I have to say, I’m really impressed with it. Software is absolutely superb too. Great price
I have this fitbit, app isn't great with the Honor phones takes ages to sync and can go days with not syncing at all. I also had to get a replacement as the screen was really dull, luck of the draw I guess as my gf screen was really bright and even my replacemet didn't match hers (there is no way to increase brightness). I would go for another band the same make as my phone if I had the choice again
Same price on Boots and £9.48 worth of points with current electricals promo (y) could end the Amazon/ JL debate depending on your tax evasion morals? Fitbit Alta
I'm happy with it's functionality and think it's great value for money - I paid £60 from Argos just before Christmas. But in hindsight, having seen the better software & web interface available from Garmin (having just bought a Vivofit Jr 2 for my 9 year old), I may well have bought a different device and settled for fewer features/ paid more money.
Thanks, so do you regret buying the HBP3 due to its lesser software offering or are you still happy with it despite this?
I have the HBP3 - it has more features (GPS) for less money but doesn't have the same software offering as Fitbit/ Garmin etc (app only, no website) and doesn't sync to Strava.
I guess it boils down to personal choice, a UK retailer or Amazon
I found that a large actually fit my other half so had to go with that. Many retailers out of stock for the small unfortunately. I got mine in h Samuel for £108 gift wrapped but they probs full price again now. Good luck
What it says above. Exactly the same. Awful awful customer service and now having to source replacement at short notice. Crap service hope this rebounds on them!
I ordered on the 23rd Nov & they’ve just said it’ll be 4-6 weeks. More annoyed about the lack of communication from Fitbit as if I hadn’t of chased them today I was unaware of the delay! Not a happy bunny as it’s for my daughters xmas present
Just tweeted them myself as mine was due for dispatch in 1-2 weeks from 26th Nov so hopefully they don't cancel cuz I will be screwed for xmas
Their customer service from my experience is excellent. Reported faulty strap. Emailed back within 20 mins and accepted claim and then posted out that day.

@wsian86 measuring the heart rate is helpful to know what zone of training am in, I. E. Fat burn zone and cardio zone. It also gives a good insight of resting heart rate, and can be used to gauge how lifestyle is affecting overall health. I do recommend fitbit for their pure pulse constant heart rate as opposed to some which activate one and hour
If you are a new Amazon Prime Now customer its £79.99 and with PRIMENOW10 code it will be £69.99.
Sorry this item is out of stock ;)
This is a good deal and I've given it heat but if you want a much cheaper fitness tracker to count steps and show phone notifications etc then check out the Xiaomi MiBand 3 for around £25. I have one and its awesome and the battery lasts weeks not days. If you need a bigger screen and built in GPS then look at the Amazfit Bip for around £55 which is kind of its bigger brother. Loads of videos of these on youtube.
I ordered last week, arrived Saturday and they’ve sent me the ‘ace’ Kids Fitbit, with someone else’s address details in the package! Will be making contact first thing Monday otherwise I’ll have a very upset daughter Christmas morning😡😡😡
