Most of the bad reviews are people pouring heated tea straight into the vessel causing it to crack. I'd always leave mine to cool down first (I brew Jun, similar to Kombucha, heating green tea and honey in a saucepan).
Wow, I was going to jump on this too but also looked at the reciews. Seems terrible tbh, and I'm only going to use this for Kombucha too.
£24.95 now! 😩
Weird, I got mine through Prime / sold by Amazon. You just scroll through the other seller options available.....actually I didn't scroll much, as it was the second one down..... Saying that Amazon themselves may have sold out by now....still good deal at 13 odd quid....if is was still available at that price.... EDIT: Just checked, and this is now around the 23quid mark, so the lower priced options aren't available anymore ;(
It's not on Prime :(

I think most have missed the point here. Not only is this item meant to be aesthetically pleasing and in fashion, it's sealable, meaning you can grate your cheese and if you don't use it all, just stick it back in the fridge.
Yes has a lid, I have one its ok. Like the look of the one in the deal better.
I thought that at first but the blurb says there is a lid too.
That’s not air tight though is it?
Thanks Op, heat as it's a decent deal, but also thanks noeldude for the Tesco one as it's great value.

Lots of sequin notebook type things. Yoga blocks, punching animal pens (2 in pack for £1), phone charging cables, summer hats. The jar was by far the biggest saving. I think some string lights were £1 too. This is all I purchased!
Thanks op. Did they have much else on offer at the Stratford branch? Considering making a trip there myself to stock up on gifts/stationery
Fixing is the key word... They should research first! Or build a test. Or look at all the other ones out there and see they have the same issue!

Are those two pressure cooker looking things canning pressure cookers? I've been looking to get into canning but it's not really big in the UK as it is in the USA and there doesn't seem to be much info on doing it and it's hard to find the stuff to do it.
`I thought I’d share some photos of what I’m doing tonight. I’m doing a vegan chilli for my wife and have made about 11kg so it will fill about 22 mason jars. She’s a nurse fir the NHS and she will take a jar to work and zap it in the microwave for a healthy meal on her dinner break.
I’d never fit a toilet roll in there.
By the way, I reuse the lids until they stop working. If the lid hasn’t done it’s job the vacuum will fail. To test if the food is safe you should be able to lift the jar by the disc lid.
