Decent specs tower PC at a resonable price. Awarded in CES, MSI Infinite S Gaming Desktop is built with its latest 9th Generation Intel Core processors, MSI Fan Cooling GeForce … Read more

MSI brand is quite well respected and it's a pre-built with fairly decent specs in a compact chassis so ready-to-go. GPU goes for about £450 new on its own at the moment at most retailers - I can see the appeal.

Can’t see why it’s hot, can’t be because of gpu

Link to the deal then as i can only find 1650/1660 graphics at anything approaching this price point in expired deals. Edit: Just once 4 months ago and hasn't been close to that price since so let's not make false statements. Also B Grades don't count.

It’s been on here many times before. New, they cost £450-500 still from the retailers that have them in stock. You can wait indefinitely for prices to come down including RTX 3000 series but that doesn’t help if you need one now with nothing inbetween.

where please? Legion 5 on amazon with the 2060 is £780

EVGA RTX 2060 & EVGA 600W2 PSU - £379.99 Delivered @ Scan

Good bundle for people looking for last generation GPUs, and to make a budget build. RTX 2060 is single fan, PSU is 80+ White.

Single fan is not enough for 2060, that will run hot and loud

Aye ^

Means the PSUs, not the graphics cards

It's not unwanted stock, the cards are newly manufactured

This turned out to be RTX2070 Max-Q model. Did anyone else experienced the same?

Yeah it’s mainly a space thing, not many people have space for a desktop

anyone who games with the trackpad must be OG lol. ive got a 17inch lappy but use it with wireless mouse and KB on my dining table lol. no room for a monitor. had to sell up the desktop pc due to lack of space :(

i have a same spec Asus ROG Strix Hero 3 Warzone gets 95fps on low settings if anyone is wondering.

Has it arrived yet and what was the condition like?

None taken, yeah totally get that, pretty much a 2 year kid could build a PC now, my point was to the actual pricing that was slightly overpriced, at least from my perspective ;)

Apart from the regression factor...who the hell would buy a 2060 in 2021, the case looks dorky, and liquid cooling?. my Oh my.

No offence mate but what's your point? Everyone and there dog builds pcs on here. It's like ww3 some days with people arguing over specs, like teen boys arguing over souped up corsas outside a shopping centre on Friday night!

Can it make popcorn too??

Totally agree

Possibly but those aren’t the expensive options they once were. It’s nothing like that - the ASUS is hardly a top-end product...

I'm tempted by this, it looks decent - the main question I have is is the free Scan baseball cap a 'one size fits all' or is there and option for the larger headed amongst us where one size doesn't fit all and is false advertising?

It's abit like comparing a top end refund luxury car from last year to a new released Ford fic6us...

I agree, it’s a strange setup; a second screen would have been nice!

I know, by no means I'm pointing any fingers at the hotukddeal itself. Its more like one of those topics "actual value vs advertised price". Like one of those ebay adverts where somebody sells a rusted bolt for 50 pounds when you can buy x10 new for 5...

Thanks for posting @Chev_Groovo and well done on your first hotukdeals thread

I agree but Box is currently selling it for £2k as well (https://www.box.co.uk/GX701LV-HG023T-ASUS-ROG-Zephyrus-S17-GX701LV-HG023T_3129076.html?gclid=Cj0KCQjw5auGBhDEARIsAFyNm9HHzcJNsaPKqayaUCY0m2L-4Or9Jg59WioKZ-bxUp_OXVgN8KZh32gaArhiEALw_wcB)

That does seem a bit of a stretch especially with an RTX 2060. Always seem to have issues with ASUS too, but I guess the higher-end stuff might be ok. Not sure it's worth over £1k even with the high refresh display given it's older gen CPU and mid-range last-gen GPU. Maybe I'm just spoilt with the Lenovo options recently.
