The naked rambler allowed Asbos to be placed against him. He was then arrested for breaking the Asbo, and not technically for being nude. Like breaking any Asbo or Court order he then ran the risk of prison, which he ended up in. Shame that some decent barrister and solicitor did not represent him pro bono.
A bloke I know, Kieth the Polisher, said this is being advertised on Dirtymacbrigade.com :)
There has never been a law against being naked as far as I know.
What about that naked hiking bloke who kept getting arrested and locked up? Have the laws been relaxed since then?
Here maps does offline maps for free. So does Google.
People use it for offline navigation to save data.
Tom toms crap Compared to Waze . Maybe the hardware version is good haven’t had one for years but the apps rubbish . In my opinion.
bought this as a lifetime version a few years ago when tomtom was just being released on android and my windows phone already had tomtom. Reinstalled this recently and it ran me to a dead end up a mountain in the middle of the lake district. whilst the maps may be from tomtom the route finding is not as good and often chooses bad routes bogged down in traffic.
I'm sure it just uses a simplified turn by turn and night mode so it reflects in your window screen using a stand
Looks like its not the county but the whole region (y) Judging by the price
I remember having had an issue in the past where my blue dot was not moving - but seems sorted. It may be that g maps is more accurate in locating you on city streets but what made me do the swtich a couple of years ago was having to navigate woods that on g maps where just green blobs, whereas on komoot each trail, sometimes just inches wide was mapped.
I was using this the other night for the first time whilst walking. It didn't seem very well calibrated and not a clue where I was walking. When I switched back to Google maps it was bang on (y)
As it's hard to actually figure out what this includes, it appears that a region bundle in the UK is a county. A single region £3.99 (you get a free one signing up to Komoot) appears to be local council areas. That seems expensive since a world pack is currently £19.99 (until 21st April usual price £29.99) So this looks like it gives you a chance to try out the app before deciding to get the world pack if it's something you will use.

Hope she's doing OK now. It's awful being in a controlling relationship like that.
Most interesting using that link, as I use duck duck go perhaps that's the reason the only thing that comes up are youtube videos and non of those porn websites my friend looked at.....ahem.
Thanx for that. Because, at the end of the Day, this is REALLY what places like this are about ... Eg. Imparting knowledge/insight/ ... etc etc, like?. :-) In a similar vain to your Google one, there's also a site out there for checking what Amazon has on you in those Cloud services of it's, etc, does anyone else happen to have a link for that one too by any chance?. :-) Thanx.
Only if you have Voice Search on. If you do, Google records all your conversations and uploads them to the cloud. My settings are on lock down so it's empty, but for anyone wanting to see what Google has stored without their knowledge, go here: https://myactivity.google.com/myactivity Pretty grim for some people. Learn German with MosaLingua Premium (Android) - Free @ Google PlayFREE£4.99Google Play Deals
Learn German in no time! MosaLingua's effective and addictive teaching method will help you memorize loads of vocabulary, key phrases and conjugations in record time.
I am having trouble downloading the Mosa Lingua German App. I have an iPad, is that why it would not download it? Thanks for posting. I use Duolingo, and Mosa Lingua for Italian plus evening classes and they do help.
I do use Duo too, i like the league system as it kind of force you sticking to it if you are a bit competitive. I also like the stories books, you reach them at a certain level in Duo, i got them in German but not with the Italian yet
The Spanish changed their language to a super simple version that I understood well (especially taxi drivers) that I got surprised and asked: Why is your spanish so clear unlike others? They all replied: So you understand it! Well... yeah I guess if the recipient appreciates your basic knowledge of the language then they could make your life easy. Are you also on Duolingo? I found it different to other apps, it doesnt start with the alphabet, it jumps right into conversarion which gives you some sort of fake confidence that you can talk about a lot of things... But hey it's genius IMO as I always get bored with language apps but religiously hooked to Duolingo!
What i have found with learning a new language is that it breaks in different levels of learning. First you learn vocabulary and short sentences. Some may think that it is enough until you go to that country, start saying a couple of things and then people start talking back to you at 100mph thinking that you are fluent. That's when you realise that you are not that good. You learn more, start maybe reading some magazines and newspaper, start listening to the radio, watch some film. Your vocabulary gets better, then you really start understanding small snippets of conversation (this feels like an Eureka moment, well it did to me). Then this get better, but the real test is to have a conversation on the telephone, where there are no visual help. And after it just gets better and better. That's was for me anyway (i have learned English, Spanish that way), right now learning German and Italian. My mother tongue is French. But one thing is sure and certain, it takes dedication, consistency and a bit of hard work, obviously it is relative to how far you want to take that new language to

Great spot here @antdav. As mentioned below, make sure you go for the Pro version when clicking though. From the App Store description it sounds like it is only on until the end of Sat 30 November, so go quick.
There are 3 versions of CityMaps2Go, namely: BASIC: The Basic version is free, however severely restricted and has annoying pop-up adverts. PRO: *** This Version *** All the … Read more
You will not regret it, I keep a spare phone in the glovebox with it loaded and have a payg sim that has some data left on it for backup, I have no idea why but I do (lol) (in my mind its in case I lose/damage my phone whilst out far away from home)
Waze is the bee's knees IMO, quick to re-route when the A68 was blocked on a journey, routed me past the blocked section in a jiffy due to other users reporting the blockage. If there was a paid version to support it I would happily pay for it.
expired. back up to 9 quid. thanks anyway, but I can't imagine this offers anything over Waze (which is free)
Has it expired, I can't tell as I installed it yesterday? When I downloaded it the 8.99 had a line through it
